Even the sun visors and hood lining are in immaculate condition.

That's a gem. Great resto and love the door shut.
I bought a 1972 XA GS 351 ute in Red Pepper in 1974, paid $2,800 for it s/h. 4 speed Toploader, 9” diff, all factory. Took it to Simsmetal in 1982 when it rusted out ☹️. Kept the engine and driveline for my XD ute which still runs to this day. Old story, should have kept the XA but no one knew at the time.
That is one nice ute!! The front end of the XA looks so much better than the XB!!
Agreed, I used to think the XB looked better but now I prefer the XA. Only problem is they rusted out more if you kept them outside like I did with mine.
My first car was a GS XA hardtop, I wish I still had it.
nice - my 1st car was an XA GS Ute burnt orange ~ wish I'd never sold it now 🙄
Very nice over restoration and I would buy it if I could afford it
Had an almost identical spec (non GS) back in 1984 as a first car, paid $2K. Mine had a black interior and I changed out the original dash for a GT. Good times.
Buteful old ute. I agree the xa front end looks better than xb
Such a good looking car
Very cool ride! ❤
I need this to fetch mi fire logs yeaa😤
Like this a lot.
We Yanks would call that a Ranchero. Sweet car/Ute.
nice
THAT I WOULD BUY
PRICE
$110k
It must be a 2V tell tail red rocker covers.
Red rocker covers denotes 302 Cleveland not 2v. 351 s have blue rocker covers. Or grey in later models
@@LeeSchofield-gr4mq Everybody knows 302c had red covers, but in the early 351c in Fairlane, Falcon GS etc, the 351c 2V had red covers as you can clearly see on this XA GS ute!
@@steveskrobot9496 early 351s?? This is an xa the 351 Cleveland debuted in the xw gt phase 2 in 1970. How is a 351 in a xa an early model?
Further more the xa is the first model to come out with 302 Cleveland. The 302 in the xy and earlier were Windsor's. Hence why they painted the rocker covers red on 302 Cleveland to differ from 351 Cleveland.
@@LeeSchofield-gr4mq Are you saying this guy has a genuine xa gs but somebodies gone & put red rocker covers on it? insane!
We all know whatvred rocker covers mean on a Cleveland dont we kids???
please could someone educated settle an argument at work ,3 second mark ,what car is this dash belong to ????
Its definitely a Valiant Charger 770 dash instrumentation and my guess is 1971, but im a Ford guy. Dont believe everything you read!
