Ingredients:
Whole Green Gram / Sabut Moong dal - 1.5 cup
Lotus Stem - 250 gms
Asafoetida/Hing - 1/4th tsp
Cumin/Jeera - ½ tsp
Black cardamom - 1
Clove - 2
Turmeric / Haldi - 1 tsp
Ginger Powder / Sunth Powder - 1/4th tsp
Fennel powder - ½ tsp
Salt as per taste
3/4th cup milk
Ghee 1 Serving spoon or as per your flavour
Oil

Or can it be cooked without soaking
You can soak it overnight and then discard the water and cook with fresh water. You can cook it with out soaking as well but it usually cause bloating and cooking time is prolonged.. You can also soak it in warm water 1-2 hr before cooking.🙏
