Especially cups made by him and Kendall that were on the actual death trip. That’s just morbid. Ocean Gate is out of their minds!

If they designed them, I possibly get it, but yes you do make a valid point. It is cool though if they truly did go down (not the fact it imploded. That’s not cool) But if they did go down to the near the titanic, it is kinda cool, but the background of them, not so much.

Dude, I didn't realise you were almost in that sub on it's final voyage. That would have shaken anyone up. My next door neighbour (20 years ago) was a salvage diver, he offered me to join him on a trip to Lihou Reef on a job, diving with a submersible, for what ever reason, it got cancelled, I don't recall why now. With all the crazy things happening in the world today, like you say, we never know what's going to happen. So glad you're still with us.

I can absolutely understand the rush of emotions. Gratitude for a safe journey. Sorrow for those who lost their lives. Release of adrenaline after facing a fear. I'm sure there is more. Amazing experience!

Glade you're overcoming your fears, Titan was a tragedy, but much has been learnt from it. when you're in the right hands, and no corners have been cut, Id argue that's deep sea diving is safer than driving a car.

Ok I can understand why you have been both so effected with that sub dive, I reckon everyone would be. And the main thing is you are alive both of you and you are safe. Just don’t do anything crazy for your fan base. Do what you feel comfortable with doing! I’m glad you are back. I enjoy your videos. I have been wondering where you were, and how you've been. So glad to see you back Jake, and your 'team' too. I would be fully wigged out going into that sub, good for you both. After the Titanic experience, I can see why you would want to face that fear and take advantage of this opportunity, or even choose to not ever step into another sub. I would be emotional too. It's pretty sobering to think how close you were to losing your lives. All the best to you, and looking forward to future adventures.

It took a lot of courage for you and Kendall to go in a submersible, no better way to overcome your fear after what you experienced. Was hoping you got a whole school of fish swim by. It was so kind for Mr. Alan to share his life with you both, giving you this experience, cherish it as one day you will tell this story to your Grandchildren. Mr. Alan is giving back to the community that have open their arms to him. I tell all the young adults, take every opportunity t live life, cherish every experience and breath you take in as like me in the blink of an eye everything can change as in your health.
Mine did with a very rare and painful disease, but I would never care about the pain I am in if I had a chance to explore the wonders and beauty of this world, the people in it, and to see what lives in the beautiful blue water you were in. So happy for you both and going to ask again, when are you two getting married, you can see the love, understanding you have for each other over the years and years, LOL. Bet both your parents bug you about it too, just be happy and true to yourself.

Conquering your fears is a good thing, especially when you realize one person's decision could have ended your life as it very well could have in the near past. Thanks for the view into a different world in more ways than one, a submersible with the correct configuration and the glimpse into the world of a person that could make it happen.

it is awesome that you mentioned "micro poles" because i love using mine. i have 2 Zebco Dock Demon 2.5 foot rods. one has a Penn Pursuit4 4000 reel with 30lb braid and 6/0 circle hook while the other has a Penn Pursuit4 6000 with 80lb braid and a 8/0 circle hook. i catch a ton of big catfish with them but kinda want to take the pole equipped with the 6000 shark fishing.
The man upstairs was definitely watching over you that day. Prayers for the families affected and thank God you didn’t end up down there.
