My 07 600rr is still a beast even with 50k miles. +1,-1 sprockets for faster acceleration and I'm still in love with it after 5 years of owning it.
My 09 600rr has just turned 60k and runs like it did with 60 miles

Have you done your valves in the 50K? Im at 30 and not sure if i need to open her up and check.
What has your valve maintenance looked like?

07-08 are the BEST Honda Cbr 600rr’s ever made….even to this very day. . Based on their amazing power to weight ratio.. I also own a 07 Cbr 600rr & a 2014 Zx6r 636…Great bikes!!

@@Acesmoto I mean the Cbr is definitely more comfortable for starters…The Zx6r, the seats high & the bars are low, therefore it’s a lot of pain on the lower back tbh. But power wise, the Zx6r is amazing, although a bit on the heavy side “425lbs with a full tank” it’s still pretty flickable..I live in Wv, so I’m alllll about turns. I’m not a so called “straight line rider” & the Zx6r is perfect for it. . The 3 traction control modes come in handy when you get caught in wet conditions, especially on TC setting 3. . The rider modes “F” & “L” are cool, but let’s be honest, nobody’s buying the 636 to ride it around in “L” mode. It cuts the bikes power down to 80% above I do believe 7,500 RPM’s. . . I say all that to say this, if you want light weight, comfort & a gas gage, an a factory steering damper “the Honda’s H.E.S.D” Honda Electric Steering Damper, then stick with Honda….But…if you want more power, don’t mind a little bit of pain here or there, want rider modes with traction control, & want a bike that comes with a factory quick shifter…Go with kawi. .that’s if you go 2019-2023…The 2013-2018’s have everything I just named, EXCEPT the factory quick shifter. . I’ve also seen a lot of videos that compare the Zx6r to the Gsxr 750 or put it in that same class. I love them both equally tho. Minus the back pain from the kawi after a long ride. . . Sorry to type so much, but I hope I made a LITTLE bit of sense🤣 & I could help as much as possible bro.🤙🏽

If you’ve never ridden before this might be too much power it’s a good idea to learn the basics on a tame easy bike sub 40hp it’s not glamorous or as convenient but it’s tutorial mode
I just got my wife the same bike and let me tell you OMG sport bikes are amazing, compared to my cruiser

My comment might upset a few people who just can't live without their aftermarket exhaust systems.
But, this is how a completely stock 07 runs when you do not touch a single thing (stock exhaust/OEM air filter/OEM oil filter/OEM oil viscosity/clean chain).
How many of you can truly claim you know how it feels to ride a 100% stock version of your bike with the skills that you've gained since you first got it? You likely don't, because often people start changing things too soon.
You learn that these older bikes, that had minimal restrictions, ride better that new model 600RRs which have emission driven restrictions added - for the cbr600rr since the 09 model.
Worthwhile mods are things like: Good tyres, Domino grips, Stompgrips, Rearsets, Quickshifter, ss brake lines, lightweight 520 chain conversion, general weight reduction.

2007/2008 cbr600 rr was built more than properly the Japanese did it real good !

I agree it’s very sold bike, I know they are not built for a lot of power like the r6 or the zx6r but very reliable and fun bike to ride
@@Acesmoto The R6 really isn’t a power house from low to mid range..it’s actually the weaker off the 600 bunch in those ranges…The R6 only shines on the top end…That’s why you see a lot of guys with them on the track. . It’s cause their absolute track weapons with that power on the top end. I hate they discontinued them, although the 2006-2016’s look better than the new gen. . Just sharper lines & a SUPER aggressive front & back end.. .. sexiest tail section out of all the 600’s in my opinion.🔥 . . but hey, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.😂
I just bought an 2007 cbr600rr with 12k miles and it has the Moore Mafia ecu tune on it. Does it take away the reliability from the bike or does the tune make the bike better but still keeping that reliability?
@@Ifeelgreyt1738 reliability still is there, is just make minor adjustments to the mapping and temps, might waste a little more fuel, but its expected with the decel fuel mod in the ecu, I have enjoyed the flash, no complaints here 🤙
I had a 600rr 08, engine braking is harsh, but overall is a good bike.

I have same bike ... but I really like using my engine braking.. its quite abrupt and I use it as part of my overall braking... do u know if there are options in a flash to keep most of the engine braking...
I’m pretty sure you can request him to not to reduce the engine braking, just put it in your mod list when sending it in
When you say “cat delete” did you replace the whole header? If so, which one? Or did you just cut the cat off, and weld in an extra pipe or something? Thanks
Exactly that, cut the cat out and replace it with a new mid pipe
@@Acesmoto was it just a straight pipe? Like 1.5in or something? Did it make a noticeable difference in power, sound or smell?
@@hellfire08 it’s. A pipe you can find on eBay, cbr600rr mid pipe, when you mix a mid pipe and and after market air filter you will want to get it flashed tuned to correct the air and fuel, as for sound and smell it will make ur a exhaust a bit louder and the smell of fumes will be more present

Does your tuned help shoot flame out of exhaust?
After I did the cat delete and flash tune it started to shoot flames, you can see in my exhaust videos
Did you have to remove an 02 sensor after flash?
This year doesn’t have a 02, but that is one of the requirements you do have a o2, needs to be removed

No dyno numbers as of yet since it’s just a mail in flash
@@Acesmoto hmmm very interesting,so why you did flash at all if not because hp,with open egxaust you should get 10-15hp let me know if i am wrong
@@MrZoranbebek the flash takes off the restrictions off the ecu and able to lower fan temps, reduce engine braking etc etc, fix the air fuel mixture when adding exhaust and air filter
@@Acesmoto yes koreckt,but you added full race exaust,and he added fuel so it means you got some hp,every time you remove cat you need to add fuel once you add it you have more hp how many we dont know unless you place it on dyno
@@MrZoranbebek exactly 👍 won’t know until a dyno pull, but don’t have a baseline, from other vids of cbr600rr, baselines pull maybe 97-99hp with a full tune maybe gain 7-10 and that’s on a high side, these number are are from vids I watched, so many variables to hp numbers
