0-100kmph in 10.9 sec is too slow considering its power figures.
Eww! those tiny wheels look horrible.. this car really needs those old 17inchers ... And that interior is absolutely ancient, ...come on Mahindra we really need a proper next gen...
Tbh friend those interiors aren't ancient surely they don't have tv screens inside but it's a no nonsense car. Also you should wish less electronics from mahindra which is a bit of their not so good area. Surely the old 17inchers were better that should've been carried in this
They are not listening to customers. This car already has a turbo then why they came up with another turbo. Should have increased the dimensions that are small and that puny engine is literally of no use. It's a case of opportunity lost by mahindra.
@@manthenvashishth3769 but the space inside is just not there. Not everyone wants to have an adrenaline rush running down their veins. People need space and practicality too and they lost it completely on these aspects
@@manthenvashishth3769 it's not about a tv screen inside the car. No one is asking for a tv screen like that of Tesla in a sub 15 lakh car. And no other manufacturer is providing it either. It's about overall feel of the cabin, the design and layout. Look at those switches under the infortainment system.. it's absolutely a decade and a half old design. And in the time of new i20s it's quite natural for people to ask a little more, a little better.
And the surprise is that it's EV version comes with the same interior. and what they have is absolutely childish bronze treatment everywhere.
Definitely agree
He suited with all cars yaar ...
Really a good reviewer of Autocar india
Damn.. Driving this comes with more conditions than my wife..😬
Hello Sir, please suggest between these two : kushaq 1.0 at ambition classic OR XUV300 W8(o) diesel ?
Both cost me around the same price!
A true sporty XUV300 would be amazing. Imagine an XUV with 200hp to rival a Polo GTI.
Which will topple over at turns due to high CG
@@Eren-da-Jaeger You have clearly never driven one. XUV 300 is an excellent handler dude.
@@nnlniclb I have driven it on highway 200Km stretch, I can tell it will topple, never gave me confidence to speed and not good on curves, back seat fellows were complaining even on a slight curve. Engine is powerful and sweet no complaints there.
Maybe you should drive a proper sedan to understand excellent handling and comfort.
@@Eren-da-Jaeger xuv300 is the best handling car in its segment, i think you have never driven it
Awesome car very fun to drive in this segment
The only thing I want s that beautiful infotainment that'd present in xuv 700 and Scorpio n
This is a beautiful car..and would be a game changer if they can extend it a bit and pit against Creta.
What a small tyre size for a muscular xuv. The tyre size didn't need to be changed after updation.
This car needs a face-lift with an improved interior. Mahindra can do better in this segment but they ignore it.
Are they using Pininfarina design studio ?
Likes:
1) new turbo engine
2) colour
3) overall external look and feel
4) black seats
dislikes:
1) aging dashboard right said by presenter
2) steering wheel looks too big and designless, something sleek would look better
3) external design also needs a update....front and rear lightings atleast
Only if it got better interiors, boot space, rear AC vents some more features and a proper Automatic gearbox instead of AMT... Most importantly, those sky rocketing waiting periods... It could sell wayy better in numbers... XUV 300 has that capability, but restricting many buyers unfortunately...
i dont think you can get satisfied in anything in your life😃, instead of finding good in things, you find everything which is not according to you
I think interiors are no nonsense Infact the whole xuv300 package has always been no nonsense. If you want those electric gimmicks inside then surely everything is lacking also on the boot space thanks to the sub4m rule xuv300 was chopped.
@@nishantagade1020 No, I'm a pure Mahindra loyalist since 10 years... Just giving tips so that it could sell more, nothing more than that...
@@manthenvashishth3769 Mahindra designed everything well, until it came to the rear portion... It feels like Mahindra suddenly got reminded that they are making a sub 4 metre car... Rather why couldn't they sell it as a proper compact SUV with some more features??
Sometimes it feels like mahondra do not even bother to sell it just like alturas that is a better product tha fortunaer but has a non existent sales.
Is any automatic transmission is coming
Jay patil rocks. Autocar- Push him more
Space in the 2nd row is widest in its category. Most comfortable in its segment. Yup bit aged interior but no other complains
If it comes with good interior awd system it will be great
Centre console & interior aesthetics should be improved.
I hope this doesn't fail like Abarth Punto
What the on road price in Tamil Nadu for Top variant
they need to add quattro, too much wheel spin was in previous diesel version itself
10.9 seconds 😂😂 seriously
My old Honda City 2017 does 0-100 9. Something 😂😂
I wonder people who are commenting 'eww' for this car are ever gonna buy a compact SUV. This car is indeed for enthusiastic drivers and not for keyboard army members.
Now This is the Car feels like VW Polo ❤️
Not really 🥹
Ehh.. No it does'nt
yes but just a little😁
In terms of outdated interiors, hell yeah it does😂😂
Yeah, naah
I wish they would have given a dct option 😢
This car in general is destroyed due to AMT. must come with DCT or AT.
They should keep this engine in xuv400
Make sure that Mahindra have spares on stock .
Mahindra is the indian vw in my opinion... jst fun
Dear Mahindra, pls change the back design of xuv300.
How many airbags in topmodel
6 airbags, knee airbag has been removed
Tata punch + turbocharged engine=🔥🔥🔥
Mstallion is the best engines in 🇮🇳.maybe over 200 kph+🤔
Yeah nope
Expecting a real interior and rear revamp soon...
I agree along
Baleno cng review
try Nissan kicks in same price
u will forget this
many dealers providing 2 lac worth off on kicks 1.3 turbo
In this price range, I would rather dish out couple of more bucks and take vw-skoda...
This is a replacement for the Abarth Punto and VW Polo GT
But
The styling doesn't justify it's Power
A high compact SUV as replacement of Punto and Polo? Do you even know the car types and segment? You would say VW Golf GTI is same as MG Hector?
10.9 seconds. MIGHTY QUICK?
Good job mahindra..!! I wish ford Ecosport had this engine
Isn't nissan kicks more powerful than this with its 1.3 turbo 150 something hp
Thats compact suv not sub compact I think. Thats different segment
Polo GT is best . 1.6 ( 4 cylender )Turbo Diesel it was mini rocket.....
3cyl is a big no for me
This is somewhat same case as Citroen C3, great ride quality, very poor on feature list.
Best engine but not a true family or practical car
Arre bhai koi punch ka bh turbo engine nikalo !!
Talk to Garett guys they have tested forced induction with intercooler on a punch.
still no improvement in the exterior and interior department! where the exterior is good, the interior needs a major upgrade! how are they living in the stone age?
This car only belong to legends
True and well said.. I am one of those legends...
Mahindra should really change this car's interiors..Nissan kicks has a better interior compared to this car with a bit of more engine power , ground clearance and bigger tyre size...
Needs a proper automatic
An XUV400 with this engine and new modern interiors is what it needs, but...
💥
The boot is too small
As a true car enthusiast this car isn't worth my time and money 😒
Yeh 'kitna deti hai' ka desh hai
3 cylinders .... i shall pass
buy xuv 300 only if you want a ROCKET especially the good old diesel w8 diesel 300nm torque cheetah
The alloy looks like wheelcaps...🧐
10.9 sec 😂
Same old wine , 3 cylinder always delivers poor fuel efficiency.
Design behtar kab karenge yeh Mahindra wale? 😡
XUV 300 is outdated.. Still they're working on the model... And the worst part is waiting period.... C'mon mahindra....
Whatever its a 3 cylinder only, more and more vibrated on the engine bonnet. ..
But diesel gets 300 nm
Itna kuch karke 0 to 100 in 10.9 seconds
Mahindra selling defective vehicles .which starts showing issues within a year of purchase
4K
V v basic looking interiors
Whatever the product and the hype around it, mahindras after service just simply sucks. Even when my vehicle is under warranty, I’m clearly getting step motherly treatment. Their only objective is clearly to only to make money
10.9 seconds to reach 100 is a yawn
For a 1350 kilo car that's respectable
Why can't Mahindra bring engineering quality from a car like Pininfarina Battista and make a different car instead of these underpowered cars 😮💨 even i10 has 9.82s in 0-100 😒 what a joke 🥴
3 cylinder ? Nexon is much better with diesel turbo
my 11 year old xuv 500 does 0 to 100 in 11 seconds. This is just sporty on paper. Pathetic
Overpriced Car of the Year award winner - XUV 300 for straight 2 years. 3 Cylinder engine; horrible, outdated and ugly interiors. No adjustable head rest for rear passengers, no boot space. Initial year batches were good, now it's just cost cutting machine. 15 lakhs only for good torque
Why Mahindra Why 😅 idk this car was not a hit back then (when compared to other compact SUVs) now Idk it would make any difference
It can be better suited as taxi car..
LoL...How? Can you elaborate please?
@@prathamsalvi4027 because its a good car with lots of corners cut and thus a good car for taxi.
Not really with its fuel economy
Xuv 300
Rear look, small boot and interiors 👎👎👎
Worst experience with Mahindra . I bought XUV300 TGDi W8(O). One of the features was missing in my car. Send mail to Mahindra and multiple follow-up mails. But nobody is ready to respond to the email. They way Mahindra is the worst. Think before you buy any Mahindra. Their Customer Service is the worst. They can not be trusted anymore.
Worst service Engine is Failure Mahindra vehicle is beyond standard
The need to scratch what they have and restart the design of this thing... Cannot buy this in 2023.....
