Mahindra should convert this from sub4m to mid-size suv to compete with creta. xuv700 could be luxury variant and this could be budget friendly. They worked on really well for the electric variant of 300. Mahindra should re-work on this.
The biggest advantage I see compared to the venue turbo are, this one comes with a manual, so the waiting period might be greatly reduced compared to it's competitor venue dct or imt
Sir, I am a regular viewer of your channel and through your way of presentation , for me personally there exists some eagerness to watch your reviews on new vehicles. I am planning to buy a subcompact SUV for which I have 2 vehicles in my list.
1). Maruti suzuki Brezza Automatic
2). Mahindra Xuv300 petrol manual .
Although Hyundai venue ranks 1 with top-notch features under the segment, I have discarded hyundai venue since the suspension felt on the stiffer side during testdrive . Besides the 1 ltr turbo's response with Dct transmission did not look great apart from its stiffer stearing .
I have testdriven the xuv300 mpfi a month before and the ride felt really good. Last week I have also driven the tgdi model also. Here I am little bit confused on which model I should go on to. I am pretty not sure about the reliability of mahindra turbo petrol engines.
In this regard I request your opinion to select the right model .

Indians have simple problems like regular rodent (rat) attack in engine bay and other parts of car resulting in recurring expenses and repeat repairs. Pls also cover these kind of benefits during the car review - like critical wiring packed away from rat access. I have seen this regular rodent attack on ignis.

Indian cars (tata and mahindra) when they started the revamp journey offered decent ( some times a segment above) features to their cars.. but now the competition had gone too far but they are stuck in the initial offering..compare the interior of xuv and venue...venue at first was not that great,but now they added good features,it looks modern...hope xuv 400 will get a new interior( which mahindra officials told during its media drive)...

Can we expect some absolute metric when you say, the suspension is good in the back seat?
As a video, the verbal opinion is the most important indicator.
But if you could explain, say the Body roll is 6/10, suspension on speed driving would be 7/10. That greatly helps.

Hi sir.. Breeza zxi plus , Mahindra xuv300 which one is best .
I am using XUV300 diesel for the last one year for 13000 k.m. It is really a fun to drive car in city as well as highways. Torque of this car is 300 n.m which no other suv can offer in this segment. Diesel car is using Variable turbo charger unlike Venue diesel which is using fixed turbo. Even higher segment Creta is having lesser torque than XUV300.Boot space is enough and other cars having just 75 litre more space.So it is not actually a deal breaker. The real enthusiastic car lovers will pick this vehicle rather who prefer gimmick things in their cars. They made mechanical changes in turbo petrol to make it sportier by address by adding a booster. So for a brief period the torque of the petrol will go up to 250 n.m. which you missed to mention.
Yes, there is another 20 nm on offer. I didn't mention it as We couldn't test it in real world conditions

Hi Sir...Is there any weight difference between Xuv300 Diesel and Xuv300 Tgdi ? If yes, the lesser weight of tgdi would match the diesel torque of 300nm ?
It would almost match diesel. Diesel top end weights 1400 kg vs petrol 1320 kg.
Petrol gets 250 NM torque in total which comes very close to diesel

What's the difference between 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder engine
I love this car but only thing is when compared to other sub 4 meter suvs is the boot space. Even in hatchback they are giving large boot space.. but in this car it is very very less..

Can we expect an interior update from Mahindra for this vehicle for 2023? The current one looks dated compared to the peers. One of the spacious and well built cars in this segment with optimum ride & handling dynamics.

If you take for a long highway drive atleast once in a month or two then fine. If not you will be facing dpf issue in diesels. Turbo petrols are the alternatives to diesel.
