Hi Eric. Great videos. I have a 2017 RX350 but the factory navigation utilizes the Toyota Scout GPS link which is no longer supported and it sucked anyway. Will your unit still work with my system? The screen on the dash doesn't go the full width of the unit.

Our kit is not ran by Android. It uses native carplay and android auto and is operated from your phone operating system. This differentiates our kit compared to the other systems
Hi eric, I just installed this and everything looks great. Is there a way we can make it go to CarPlay automatically instead of the default screen, when starting up.
Great! At the moment, you will need to long press the nav button to switch the screen to carplay mode
Couple questions. In my Mercedes I have Android auto and I have a dongle for wireless which allows me to put in an SD card with video which I can have my passengers watch while on trips or whatever. Do you have this capability with your wireless? Also the wireless dongle that plugs into a USB cable has the ability to watch CZcams and Netflix which I'm guessing this system or any system you sell does not am I wrong? Thanks for any answers you can give me.
This kit is strictly Carplay or Android Auto. You can connect the dongle to this kit to achieve your video playback
@@BeatSonicUS okay I was just wondering if it had a USB cable to do that. And I'm guessing it can be located in the glove box or some other convenient location. I just didn't know how the wireless part worked on the kit. Because the dongle handles the wireless and the SD card Thanks for the answer.
If anyone wonders how much time will it take realistically for a DIY person (I do everything myself, electrical engineering background) who does it for the first time, I've measured it yesterday and it takes 1 whole day. If everything goes smoothly and you know what you are doing you can compress it to about 1 hour, but all that if things go well. Sometimes a cable just wont go the right way (especially connecting the boxes to the display), or there's a struggle of putting some panel back to its place without breaking anything. Or there's a decision point on where do you put the USB cable and you need to come up with a good solution. Or your extender is either too short or too long when approaching some nut. Beat-Sonic warn multiple times that extra care should be taken in order not to break things, as everything is very fragile. I took care, I didn't break anything, took me 1 full day, including reading materials and watching 3 different videos, as all of them miss some steps or show case a slightly different solution -- they keep changing them all the time. I used the wireless solution manufactured before September 1, 2023. Very happy with the result, everything works as advertised, +rep to Beat-Sonic.

I have the 360 view camera system in my 2019 RX. Will the 360 cameras still work with this install?
Yes the factory 360 camera system will continue to function normally. Even when in carplay mode
Eric, I have a heads-up display in 2018 RX, which shows the navigation steps from the car's navigation + other stuff. Once I install this product, will that continue to work? If so, will it get the details from this device?
The HUD will continue to work as usual, but the carplay functions will not display on the HUD

While in CarPlay Mode, will the ca'rs backup camera be able to come up and go away on the screen when the gears shift?
Yes the backup camera operates normally even when in carplay mode and will show when you engage your reverse gear

Hey I heard that some of these kits degrade the quality of the Mark Levinson audio system that comes with the F-Sport trim models. Any insight on this claim with regards to the Beat-Sonic product?
Our kit keeps the exact same audio quality compared to the factory oem system as we use the factory audio inputs: Bluetooth and usb plug in
right side camera will show up automaticaly when you want to turn left or right?
In my car now when i almost stop, camera pop up automatically.

Hi Eric, I purchased one of the CarPlay units but I have an issue with it. When I turn on the vehicle turning indicator the CarPlay unit shuts down and my screen goes blank until I turn off the indicator. Do you know of any solutions to fix this?
Eric, I solve it. It was a setting in the CarPlay unit that I needed to change.

This 100% is not worth the price in the slightest. I bought a new head unit with apple and andriod auto that has an OEM finish and works flawlessly for $800 for my other car.
How an apple carplay and andriod auto adapter for an already great head unit is beyond me.
