    Spacers are GREAT because not all wheels come in the exact size and offset that you need.
    Just make sure they are hub centric to the hub and wheel (both sides)

    Sometimes you can go online and do as much research as you can and order what you're told is the right fitment and still come across something unexpected. My girlfriend has a 2020 WRX premium with the performance package (premium performance comes with 4 pot brembos) and actually went onto fitment industries to order her Avid AV06's in 18/9.5 with a 38mm offset because the fitment calculator and gallery showed that they would fit with no issue. The day they tried to mount them onto her car, the shop said they wouldn't clear the brakes and we needed to order spacers and open lugs for them. I'll say that if it wasn't for spacers we'd be dealing with a completely different situation on trying to get her wheels on her car

  • @JBR_1995
    @JBR_1995 Před rokem

    Hey, this was a very good video.
    Personally I'm having trouble to know which size is right for me. After measuring, both my front wheels have an offset of 22 mm, my left rear wheel has 32 mm and my rear right wheel has 25 mm. Since this is by measuring on the outside part of my fenders, I believe subtracting like 3 mm is a must. So in the end it is 19 mm for front wheels and 29/22 mm for the rear wheels.
    Now according to these numbers, I could go with four 15 mm spacers. But I am a little bit worried about it, because my fenders go kinda diagonally upwards. So basically I am worried that if I use 15 mm spacers, my wheels might rub on my fenders.
    So my question is, should I go with 10 mm, 12,5 mm or 15 mm spacers? I want the sportier look but without sacrificing safe driving and fender clearance.
