Ssj3 Goku was one of my favorite transformation in the series. In this state, he was all about the hands, serious and shit. But my favorite transformation is Future Trunks after he saw the death of his mentor

To comment on "transformations taking literal episodes" is an over-exaggeration, because Goku going ssj3 is the longest transformation scene in Dbz and it only took 5 minutes.

Ssj3 is a form where half the fans hate it and the other half loves it. For me, this form is absolutely dupe and this moment in the buu arc is one of my favorite scenes in the entire franchise

I have so many stories about me, my friends, and family when we were kids. We each were a character from the series, we would train for hours a day EVERYDAY, we would time ourselves running through the woods, run barefoot on gravel to toughen up our feet and learn “mind over matter” we would meditate, and spar. All kinds of things lol 😂

I noticed a difference between Bruce's OSTs and the original OSTs, in the US version they try to show you the ssj3 as a more "epic" transformation, while in the original version they try to show you a more "scary transformation", the music in the original version seems more scary, while in the American version it sounds epic, it's a rather interesting point of view having seen the French and Japanese version for me

You should see the ending without the guy interrupting what Goku looks like with lightning emitting off of him after he's done. The shading and the pose look phenomenal. Also Idk why she doesn't like the fact that Gohan transformed into Super Saiyan 2 first. It shows his development as a character, establishes him as Goku's successor like Goku wanted because he said he's not going to be there forever (it's a nice change of pace to see someone else be the hero and save the day other than Goku as the strongest), and also they tell us or imply that he had that potential all along because he's half Saiyan. The human side of him gives Gohan willpower and potential beyond a full blood or something like that.
