I have just completed a similar project on a Ford Focus textured parts .. I scuffed everything with a maroon scotchbrite pad and scrubbed it well. Next was adhesion promoter followed by three coats epoxy primer filler. Sanded with 180 and then 400.. Painted with two coats of two pack 4 to 1 JET black gloss. Looks fantastic
Great detailed video 👍🏼 I’m getting everything ready to paint the plastic trim around my Model X , I just don’t know if I’m doing Glossy black on the trim or color match it to pearl white
You think I would be able to do this process with all the fenders and trim on a Honda element? Been dying to paint my panels and fenders but don’t want the texture popping thru
