Was walking down the strip that night, got told I had to run as we got told "people are coming this way with guns and shooting everybody." Nobody had a clue what was going on, never forget that. Had to dive into a bar, but not knowing what was going on at that time was frightening. Mass panic
That night will live with me forever . The sound a bullet makes when it's passing close by you and when sound it makes when it's passing by you at a further distance. Then the sound a bullet makes when it hits the ground near you sounds like a sludge hammer hitting the ground. Then the smell that comes from someone being shot Sometimes I can still think I smell when I am just sitting in a quiet room. The metallic copper smell blood has filled the air like a thick cloud you could feel it on your tongue and in your lungs. The smell of bile, shit, stomach acid, and blood that comes from a stomach wound still haunts me as much as hearing a guy who is breaking down uncontrollably while he held his wife and rocked back and fourth and the look in his eyes was the most lost look I have ever seen in a person. You see him almost in denial that his wife was shot in the head like he was in a nightmare and all he wanted to do was wake up. He was so crushed he he didn't even acknowledge he was also shot in the side. I always wounder what happened to him because just thinking about how broken he and so many other looked brings me to tears as I write this. From turning guard rails into make shift stretchers to making a tourniquet with my shirt that night felt like it all happened in slow motion but at the same time it was over in just a few blinks of the eye.

Jack! I believe the notes that were found by the weapons was actually where Paddock had projected the bullet drop from the rifles he was shooting and the distance he was shooting from. He had recorded how high he needed to shoot to actually hit his targets. Iâm not sure if this is 100% true but Iâm so sure this was confirmed.

America still confuses me even though I've lived here my whole life. Some of the laws make absolutely no sense and harm you more than help you. Don't get me wrong, America is a beautiful country and it's full of so many good people and so many amazing places to go and have the best time of your life... but it's a blessing and a curse.

Now, the way the weapons were spread around the room supports a sales gone wrong scenario.

Everything was covered up. If you look at the pictures of his body lying on the floor, with his arms lying neatly on both sides of his body and the pistol he shot himself in the mouth with several feet above his head, it's obvious someone layed him out AFTER he was dead. His body wouldn't fall that way and the pistol would be in front of him and not several feet above his head. And of course there was the automatic weapon standing above his foot ..... I could go on and on about things that don't make sense. Seems to me the most Likely scenario was Paddock was an FBI asset conducting an FBI gun sting that went bad and there was shooting with people dying, including Paddock.
Also if he shot himself there would be brain and blood splatter all over the wall which there was not!! To neat and to quick for a normal investigation I rest my case!!
It actually took roughly an hour and a half for the police to breach Paddockâs room.

You know what I realised, outside of America shootings are labelled as massacres for example the Dunblane massacre and the port Arthur massacre for example. Bump stocks do make a gun almost automatic, but they make them inaccurate as hell also. If I was a single shooter(And I don't know how a 70 year old man, my moms age, could pull this off.) I wouldn't use the bump stock option. Especially at several hundred feet away like he was.

I've had conversations about how the government and sometimes companies don't get anything done till the most extreme situation or till someone dies, so that general feeling is out there.

There is plenty of released information that you could confirm some of the things you reported wrong. Once you start to look closely you will see there are many things wrong with the fit report, no ballistics, etc. You need to dig MUCH deeper into to this one!

When fellow brits talk about gun laws it makes me so embarrassed because they know nothing about the actual laws themselves or American history. Another thing I wanted to note- I very rarely comment on CZcams videos or really on any other platforms where commenting is an option, regardless of content. However, I recently stumbled upon (recommended feed, I believe) another segment of this podcast where the Wattsâ family murder case was discussed. Now Iâm no podcast connoisseur, so I might not have the most informed view of the status quo, but just in that segment (probably about the same length, approx. 20 mins) there were so many stated inaccuracies that anyone with even cursory knowledge of the facts of the case would identify right away. Not a huge deal, and reasonable people should know to do their own research or should try to do what they can to fact check information received from secondhand sources at minimum, but I mean this reminded me of some messed up version of the telephone game, or at least thatâs what Iâm assuming happened which led to a broad understanding of the major themes of the case but so many references to facts or evidence that just didnât quite hit the nail on the head, at best, and were flat out incorrect at worst. But again, I watch mostly flushed out, edited, scripted, methodically directed videos on CZcams and so maybe podcasts are meant to be broadcast with little to no research done before hand, to maybe seem more relatable to the viewer whoâs stumbled upon the video/audio having not done much research beforehand either.

The "note" was actually measurements so he could account for the wind and etc. He shot a gas tank by an airport if I remember, and some of the initial shots may have been him getting measurements. I feel like when the event first happened some people may have felt he may have been a leftist radical or something, but after learning about the other hotels and festivals I think generally everyone just thinks the guy was crazy. Suicidal and insane. Also you say he didn't have mental health problems but from what I can recall he was medicated in some way. Quick Google shows that his doctor wanted him on antidepressants and Paddock only took anxiety meds. Probably just mental health + lax gun laws. Anyway I enjoyed the discussion but you should do more research!

There have been many people investigate this and showed bullet holes from directions that absolutely could not have come from the Mandalay unless bullets can go around corners now. Then you have numerous vets there who have been in battle and understand gunfire. They claimed they were being shot at from other directions. These are not civilians who don't have a clue, rather battle hardened vets. Then the fact that ISIS took responsibility and have never one time in the past taken responsibility for something they haven't done. Then there were all the police talking over radio who said they were being shot at from places in excess of a half mile from the Mandalay....this was over recorded radio transmissions. But now all this has been removed from youtube.

I saw one video that has since disappeared which showed two men dressed as police shooting into the crowd. If they weren't shooting at regular people what were they shooting at? It's either they were firing at shooters on the ground or they were disguised and shooting at concert goers. But there was never anything about it in the reports. AR15's are probably the most widely used rifle for hunting in the US, they are lower recoil than a bolt action of the same calibre and a lot of the time you want to be able to have a quick follow up shot to make sure the animal is dispatched humanely. They use them out the side of helicopters for hog hunts in some parts of the US which helps keep down the massive amount of damage they cause every year.
