Hey man, I agree with about 95% of what you say. I think you’re an awesome mechanic and a great business owner but I don’t agree with not up selling our parts. That is also how we make our money as mechanics. It’s hard enough out there is helps cover are tools because they’re also expensive and without them, we couldn’t even be in Mechanics so parts play a big role

So you up sell on parts not bc that’s what’s needed but because you want to make more money. Charge more for your time then and not parts. That’s a big reason why people don’t like or trust mechanics. This guy will never not have business bc he doesn’t treat people like an aTm. At the end of the day do what’s best for you though.
