I noticed how similar Raja and Yvie are with the whole fear of being forgotten and wanting to establish a legacy, maybe that's why Raja sees so much of herself in Yvie and how Raja inspired Yvie. 💓

My two faves on AS7 feel like they have been overlooked and should’ve gotten more wins throughout the season
@@mushroomburrito They are in like the top 5 of most impactful winners in my opinion and I felt like production made them filler queens or something. Especially knowing both of their personalities, there was so much potential.

I have the same condition is Yvie, Ehlers-Danlos, and hearing her talk about it on RPDR and AS just made me so happy. She makes me feel like, even with all my disabilities, I can truly do anything with my life.
I have something similar, her and Willow make the fucking world of difference on dark days when it feels like you're so misunderstood. Sending you love and solidarity.
I was a little mad when I heard about how her chronic condition impacted her current career during the AS7 tic tac thingie, because I would’ve rather seen that storyline the rest of the season than hearing d*ck jokes.
I feel like she got a little short-changed in the season. But also out of respect for Evie’s privacy, I would also understand if she didn’t want her storyline to be limited to a hardship narrative

@@sontaranmc2109 it would’ve been so nice to have seen how Yvie (especially Yvie for me as I also have EDS and seeing how someone else manages can give you good ideas or inspiration about things you can also do) but also Jinkx were coping back stage with their health conditions, and how others around them responded to it.

The jellyfish look is exactly where I fell in love with Yvie. I knew this was the kind of queen that was smart, conceptual, different and very confident in hier otherness.
The more I listen to Yvie the more I love her. She's so self aware.
I just love Yvie so much. I love her honesty and just how much she is herself without concern if ppl will get it or not. She's so unique and incredible.
I love Yvie so much and really enjoyed how she be enjoying in AS7. She taught me that i didn't have to be perfect, instead, just be odd, weird and my very own self.
Yvie was robbed several times in AS7 and was practically one of the funniest. She's also gorgeous. In and out of drag.

I absolutely fell in love with Yvie this AS Season. without the pressure of a cutthroat competition, she is just such a genuine spirit. a true artist and visionary. wise wellll beyond her years yet such a youthful soul. All Stars Yvie made me fall head over heels for her. Thank you so much for showcasing her work!!!

I loved Yvie from the first green dress to this beautiful, odd portrait and her one-eyed kitteh. She's a sweet, genuine person and great, ironic and super fashionable powerhouse performer who I'm always rooting for, and I'm so glad every time I see her perform like on AS7 while she can still do her thing. I would watch her sitting on a stage in a paper bag, though, so everything else is extra! when it comes to Yvie.
As an OLD man I enjoy seeing young artists strive to keep reaching for authenticity. Good on ya Yvie! All the best!

The way she talked about her condition (which by the way is the same as I have, just a different type (type V)),..that kind of motivates me somehow...because Yvie and I are the same age now and to hear from her all the things I am thinking to myself, like she feels that she is constantly working against her own body,...i totally can relate to this...and oddly enough, it kind of helps me in my every day life, if that makes any sense...
everytime i recall to drag race and the things i love the most about what it stands for, it's yvie's drag that inspires me the most; her creativity and kind soul will be the things i always think about

Yvie Oddly is the only other Drag Queen I truly see myself in other than Bob TDQ, my assumed drag Dad, and Shea Coulee, my standard of classic drag excellence for black queens.
Yvie reminds me to be completely original and authentic to myself, my inspirations, and my uniqueness. Even if it goes against everything everyone thinks is normal or drag or glamorous.
YVIE'S DRAG ALWAYS EXCITES ME! SHE IS SO CONCEPTUAL AND VERSATILE WITH A LITTLE BIT OF ODDNESS INTO IT! IT MIGHT NOT BE THE MOST POLISHED OR THE MOST GLAMOROUS ALL THE TIME, BUT THERE'S A CERTAIN RAWNESS INTO IT THAT MAKES YOU QUESTION IF YOU LIKE THE OUTFIT OR NOT. AND I LIKE ART THAT CONFUSES ME BECAUSE THAT RARELY EVER HAPPENED. HER ART IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HER PERSONALITY IS MAGNETIC. YOU CAN'T HELP BUT FALL IN LOVE WITH HER. She wasn't winning as much as she should have, but I loved seeing her relaxed and on top of her game the whole season--what a great showcase for all of these great queens!

I've stopped going to meet and greets, but Yvie is worth the meet and greet fee and the waiting and the standing in line and the running around for no reason that happens at these events. She is so nice. Once we were at Drag Con in LA, and she opened the door for my crippled ass after a long day of photos, interviews, fans, and panels.
Yvie is a literal legend. She has something special. She's a shining star, so talented.

People say her season (11) was the weakest DR season ever. But she was just amazing. And really has grown since. She was constantly amazing in AS season 7 too. Definitely one of my top five drag queens.

One of the best and most memorable queens so far! I mean, yvie has done so well for themselves and i hooe life gets richer and richer. As you get older and more disabled, keeping fighting for the joy, and the memories of life are all you can do.

I am happy to say that I had the chance to see her in Vegas 2021 along with many of the other Queens, But to see her live and yell out, "I Love You Yvie" and have her wink was so awesome...
