I do feel seriously awful for Valentina despite everything. That was her moment to have, and they all took shots at her the entire time to where she basically isnât considered to be Miss Congeniality for smth that wasnât her fault. Yea, they shouldnât have ever had it be fan voted, but it was and she won. Fucked up that they took that away from her.

God Ru was eating up everything at that Season 9 reunion. He was enjoying every single second.

The Season 9 reunion will always be iconic because up until that point it was RuPaul's Best Friend Race, almost to a point where the girls seem to be self-producing. That reunion brought out all that was boiling underneath. Also the fact that it was filmed after the finale, the girls were pressed that Valentina got all that cheering from the crowd and Shea and Trinity had nothing to lose anymore so they dished it all out.
Same thing could have happened in S13 and then they had to do that weird "reunion" more like recap.
But I'm glad the queens get to show more of their talent in their music videos.
I agree with almost everything you said, except the part of them being pressed because of Valentina's ovation. I am very sure that was the least in their minds. Valentina was just flat out fake during her main season and she got called out for that. Harshly. But envy? no.

Iâm surprised they got away with that. I thought they were the mean girls and the villains of the season and it took me many years to actually start liking Raja and Manila after that. I really disliked them for how they behaved during most of the season.
Queens have done a lot less and been hated for years after their season. Tyra was hated for years, so was Silky Raâjah OâHara, Nina Bonina Brown, Kennedy Davenport even Jasmine Masters was overwhelmed with hate after her original season.

I honestly think Stacey is such a sensitive, sweet soul. It makes me sad she was selected for All Stars cast, but she was replaced by another queen, but still featured in a challenge that same season. During filming, she overheard someone say something that hurt her feelings and she vowed she would never comeback as a contestant. I love her though; I would love to see her back :(

I think Valentina was the choice that made the most sense at the time. She had a major fan base that were desperate for her to win SOMETHING if it wasnât the crown. Miss Congeniality gave Valentina at least something, and thatâs what most of the fans wanted to see. And letâs be real, there was not many congenial people in that season except Peppermint and Sasha who were both finalists.
This is why I'm glad the Queens pick miss congeniality now

I get the point that Raja and Delta were trying to explain, but if you look at it they secluded exactly the girls with less resources or the ones that didn't fit the beauty standard.
I get that Delta doesn't exactly fit the said beauty standard, but you can tell she may have had a better upbringing than Stacy, and the rest of the "boogers".
I see girls that are more educated and have a better social status doing exactly what society does everyday with people that come from humble beginnings or that don't fit the beauty standard.

I think a lot of people forget with the Valentina drama that she was very passive when it came to the hate Nina was getting. I get the reunion was fun and jokes but it was NASTY how Nina was dragged hard for weeks on end over doing a lip sync. And it took Valentina way too long to properly address it.

It's a fact that the Heathers felt that Shangela, Alexis and Stacey were "busted-looking" and "a mess" - they mentioned it countless times in 'private' in many different ways. So to label them boogers is not only high school behaviour, but also literally not a joke - it was subjective truth to them. That whole bullying storyline really is the piss in the chips for me for season 3.
