That's a bad thing. Will the likes of Van Dijk and Mo tolerate a man who isn't much older than them telling them if they play badly? He's all wrong for us. Plays a different formation, too young, manages in a weak league. He won't be here 3 years or even close to that. All good as we can see if Klopp wants to come back.

All assuming Amorim comes in: We don’t need any attackers, players like Elliot, Szoboszlai and Carvalho are there to bolster our numbers up top anyway and we will need to help positions that are weakened because of the system change. 2 new CBs are the priority, at least one who is left footed, then maybe a wing back depending on what the ideas are for our current WBs

@@musayibghani3986Last season was pretty much down to a combination of mental, psysical and emotionally exhaustion from narrowly missing out on the quadruple the season prior. It also didn't help the midfield wasn't replenished.
We are far too well run a club to go downhill the way United did post SAF who basically had no plan whatsoever for his inevitable departure and had clearly stopped replenishing their squad in those final years. We actually have replenished our squad and we have also brought back Michael Edwards who was crucial to the foundations of the 18/19 Champions League success and 19/20 Premier League title along with Richard Hughes who did outstanding work at Bournemouth. The club is easily in the best position it has been in since the mid 70's when Bob Paisley succeeded Bill Shankly and ended up becoming far better Manager with a considerably larger trophy haul. The next Manager will benefit tremendously from the great foundations Klopp has leftover.

Confused by analysis from Redmen TV, yesterday with Dan and Josh they identified Amorim's 343 central CB role was not suited for Van Dijk, nor was there a position for Trent as well as for Jones, Gravenberch, Luis Diaz, Endo. Look, it's not cool to be saying "Amorim ticks all boxes" you have to stand up for yourself here and say "no" to things not just "yes" "yes"? And Mac Allister as a double pivot as well as Szoboszlai aren't their best positions compared to in a midfield 3 for them where Amorim's sytem will have less touches for them for faster ball progression. Please, Amorim has to be adaptable to our squad and there's nothing wrong with saying that, not kick players out or make them play where they don't feel comfortable. We have a world class squad and it should be kept together
