- Very short review, the Molle straps broke on one side of the Scabbard as soon as I took it out of the bag it was in. I ordered from Trinity Supply, I specifically ordered the shotgun Scabbard made by them. My first order I made through Amazon they mistakenly sent me a full-length scabbard and I kept it because it seemed real nice quality. The snaps were very strong and sturdy. When I reordered directly through them they sent me this piece of crap instead of something made with their brand on it.
Bro those are molle straps they are removable! And in my opinion those molle straps are actually better than ones that are stitched onto the pouches. Gives you more options of placement and adjustments.
User error. Those Molle straps are removable on each side so you can attach the scabbard one side or the other of your rig and have free molle slots on the other side to attach other stuff... This seems like a pretty straightforward thing to figure out, doesn't it? Your stitching and seams all look just fine on those other straps too.

those can be had directly from china for half the price, why would you buy ncstar to begin with?
I had already purchased a full-size Scabbard from Trinity. That's what they were supposed to send me a Scabbard made for them, with their name on it. Instead they sent me this piece of crap
Buying from China is part of what wromg with the economy. Put the money back in America. I aint saying buy this junk but still. American made purchase all I do
Good to see you again old friend . Sorry to hear your scabbard purchase is less than satisfactory . I have one in FDE that I have added a pouch to that carries 5 loaded AR mags while the scabbard hosts a 10.5" AR pistol . No Problems so far .(been about 3 years with regular trips to the range ). I'm not sure mine is a NCSTAR but I know I only paid $17 for it on Amazon.

I think they're supposed to free float like that in the molle.... Also I don't plan on using the molle for anything so if those are the only two gripes I'm definement grabbing one. Anyways I appreciate the review. I've been looking high and low for a shockwave in this scabbard to see how it'll sit.
I've found buying NC Star anything is just throwing money away.
Now I just save the money up and buy from manufacturers that I know are reliable.
It takes longer to come up with the extra coin, but ultimately, you get what you pay for.

hello I was wondering what's your opinion for the best way to get into gunsmithing.
Must be a run of bad luck or you're not getting actual product. I have a lot of NcStar/VISM products and never an issue. And yes I use the on a regular basis.
Found one on Amazon (in 2024) for $15.
looks like the quality of the ones one can buy directly from china is way better.

Buy berry compliant kit or don't buy it. In 2019 there is little compelling reason to buy stuff made outside of the US or western Europe, and even most Euro tactical gear isn't great since it's made for airsofters.
If you see something made for short barrel shotgun holler at me. I just looked in the only thing I saw was for a rifle.
