I love the adrenaline rush when karting
I've always wanted to start go karting to get into higher racing leagues. Hoping to start earning money for go karting next year when I'm 15 and officially start racing when I'm 16. To all of you out there. Hope you take an inspiration cause one day you can be doing this in person!

Loved the video 💝👍🏻 But couldn't help but look at your thumbs around the steering wheel, and remembered one of the last times I had a race in a kart, and a guy I was passing nearly ripped his thumb off by holding the wheel that way!
He was looking at me instead of where he was going and crashed straight into the tires and his thumb got minced by the wheel ripping hard in one direction 🫣

Aren't you worried about damaging the tyres when you induce so much understeer on the warmup lap? How much is too much?
you cant damage tires when they are cold, when tires overheat they start to get some damage
the point is to get as much temp and to build in some groove so they actually grip so thats why he destroys them on the out lap.
Also kart tires are significantly more durable than Formula tires (which are made to purposefully accumulate more damage than it's neccesary for performance).

@ryan why you making use of a mychron 4 if I may ask?
holy shit! Solid amazing drive, I noticed you tend to block the tires when braking but at the same time you keep your kart straight. I do the same thing but I use it to help in the steering, for example i hard brake get the tires to start blocking and use the loss of grip to help me slide and aim the turn exit. Could you help me understand why your way is apparently faster than mine?

Im only locking the tires in a straight line for a brief second. I am never fully locked up. You might be hearing the chirping from the tires as I brake. As far as using the brakes to turn the kart goes, the reason it is not fast is because you are basically drifting. You are intentionally causing the kart to slide which really limits the mechanical grip created by the kart and tires. Therefore, this doesn't allow you to carry the same rolling speed as someone who uses the correct braking technique. Good question!

a tip for making a good time on all tracks is to let your kart slide without forcing it and you will see that you recover a lot. I compete in the Italian kart championship in okj

No you can’t use your weight to get better braking, it depends on your weight and grip

its pointless driving behind someone who is a tad bit slower than you, so letting other people pass and finding an open space on the track is important.
It is practice run. Trying get feel of kart on new tires with a clear track and no traffic
Some time it's best to follow behind some one to see what lines they run (especially if there faster in certain corners) but also could be maybe he wanted to go flat out in sections to see where hes at in certain sections and if some one is tryna pass can mess with ur timing (edit most them carts are fitted with accelerometer and stuff like that so they can see where they hit the Gas breaks and such to figure out where they should be)
So you can focus on the track not the people
That's not what occurred. The tires got too hot, and became greasy. Also, there's definitely an engine issue.

The wedge can be adjusted like in NASCAR, your cart might be loose, ask someone to tighten it. It’s better to be loosen then tight though

Doesn't get paid I don't think. Only by sponsors, you typically pay many thousands to be in a kart racing team

I believe it is concealing setup which at that level of karting can be the difference in winning vs losing

Yes your good at driving I admit but you do drift a lot in corners your stomp on the breaks because I can the tires grinding as you come to a corner but over all amazing
He's not drifting that's just the tires chirping because of the hard braking
