I moved to Wyoming from Colorado. People leave their doors unlocked cars running at the store , children play outside without adults and people have guns. I am the only Mexican in the town. It is great
Ha Ha, thats funny, and leave it to you to notice all that stuff right? just kidding, I lived in Afton for a year so I know exactly what your talking about, it almost makes you uncomfortable because it's like everything I was raised not to do

Yeah, I live in Wisconsin and almost all of the used car dealers here go to auctions in the south in order to buy cars because all of the midwestern cars rust out fast.

Bad people come in all colors, when they’re bad they’re bad. God bless America.
Not really most dangerous cities tend to be less white take a look at Detroit
Sebastian David Cuni I guess Detroit’s a poverty ridden city so of course people tend to commit more crimes. I myself was born in the south Bronx and it was a danger zone but I was used to it so thank God I didn’t have a problem but, it wasn’t easy always watching your back as you walked down the tough streets and got on the subways. I remember being followed by guys all the time but I was aware so didn’t go to isolated area but I’ll tell you it was any fun being scared all the time while coming home from school. I had to be super aware and run in my sneakers all the time. What a way to live. Thank God now I moved to a safer neighborhood and out of the Bronx. But I also remember the good ole Bronx days! 👍
Also most dangerous tend to be the least white like Arizona New Mexico California Texas Florida Louisiana
Jamila Hadade some groups have more bad.
Sebastian David Cuni bruh those are the biggest states
That's it when I graduate I am moving to new Hampshire getting a gun and a wife and living my life
Right on!
Also use the guns for the zombie apocalypse not school shootings or a battle royale in real life in NH
Make sure it's your best life
Sounds like a plan don’t forget to adopt some dogs for a loving home.
Ok
The common denominator is the population composition.
Definitely.
Yep. All these states are very different when it comes to wealth, types of jobs, and politics...
Yes as in most of them arent very populated
No matter how “safe” a state/area is, NEVER leave your door unlocked. Better be safe than sorry.
I’ve heard too many murder/rape/robbery stories due to leaving the door unlocked because people felt safe.
Its indeed truth bro
Yes Soo true.
Safest place to live is inside my house ......I have a whole lot of world going on in there.
exactly👍🏻❤🙏
You should do a ranking of all 50 states from safest to the most dangerous
They have that list if you search. The most dangerous are mostly in the south east and the safest are mostly in the north west and New england. Midwest and north east and south west are hit and miss.
Montana top number one most bear maulings.
Just look up the demographics if you want safety. You can figure it out.
I am from the Caribbean. i visited New York city, and i really felt safe there! my mother came from the hairdresser at 2:00 am, took a taxi cab, safely home, everywhere she looked, there were police officers, doing their job. hats of to them. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Things have changed DRAMATICALLY there since then!
NYC is on it's way back to the 70's and early 80's unfortunately
I’d be really interested to see how life post-2020 has affected this list.
same for real
I was just thinking the same thing. I’m very curious.
Nothing on the safest state list would change.
The top 10 least safe states would expect to see new arrival democrat stronghold states like WA and OR on that list.
"Sense of community" = "What happens to you happens to me".

Alaska is really safe. The only reason why crime seems so high is because the population is so low.

How's the internet there?
Ironically, New Haven, the home of Yale, is one of the most crime ridden cities in CT.
I currently live in Northern California and have lived there my whole life and my oldest brother along with his wife and son moved to Idaho and I've also strongly considered moving there as well. I had a feeling Idaho would make this list. I would like to point out that a lot of people think there's nothing to do there but that's actually not true. Idaho does have stuff to do there at least depending on where you are. Obviously being up north there's plenty of snowboarding to do there in the winter. They moved to Nampa by the way. But not too far and Caldwell they really know how to celebrate Christmas there. It was fastening seeing this Creek with all these Christmas decorations and even a dragon decorated with Christmas lights that actually occasionally breathes fire. That was awesome! And yes in the summer there are things to do as well. I was there in summer of last year also when my wife, my best friend, and I took a long distance trip to visit Oregon and then Idaho to look for potential places to move to. I'm still kind of torn between the two states, they both have their benefits and they both have some issues to but either way I'd rather live in one of those two states then stay here in NorCal where everything is just too damn expensive.
Bro. i live in Northern California and went to idaho once. I can tell you northern california is way better then that potato
New Jersey is one of the safest? Where have you been all this time, you better check your facts again !!!
Kenneth Pavlic Yeah....Camden is a fucking shithole.
Safe except for urban centers, which he said in the video. It's like Illinois, which is a good place except for the urban centers. you figure out why.
Have you ever been to New Jersey idiot?
True, but that’s going on in the whole country, politicians are the biggest crooks there are
Many times, I used to be an otr driver, I’ve been all up and down east coast, jersey, nyc and I still say it’s not safe, when I went there I took my German Shepard with me and she slept in the seat watching
Just found your channel and love it! You've done a great job with your videos!

@@WAncouvOR No, that little Obama pajama boy running Canada is ruining it.
@@WAncouvOR You should leave you doors locked in even Canada. Many of the states on this list are safer than most if not all the provinces in Canada.
Exactly just because crime is low doesn't mean there is no crime.
For all of the people saying New Jersey isn’t safe, it is. Yes, there are a couple of bad spots like Camden and Newark, but overall, it is really safe. I have lived here my whole life, and for me it is very peaceful and calm. New Jersey has a bad reputation, but it’s actually a pretty good state overall.
I'm from Bergen County and there are rarely any serious crimes.
true. i live in middlesex county and these people think that nj is only camden, jersey city, and newark. new flash-its not. and frankly a lot of it is pretty safe
I’m from the hood in Jersey and you’ll see people out and about all the time and crime isn’t as bad as the really bad cities
Grew up in Bergen and now considering renting in Red Bank New Jersey
New Jersey has tons of diverse towns and really the ones you have to look out for are places like Elizabeth, Camden, Trenton, Paterson, and Newark.
Everywhere else it’s basically safe middle to upper middle class New Jersey suburbs with safe vibrant towns, good people, low crime, good public schools, and your near to NYC. NJ gets a bad rap for the jersey shore, hoods, and everyone thinks we talk like Tony Soprano. I think it’s underrated
Lived in Jersey 14 years ish give or take. I’ve witnessed tons of murders in close proximity in Middlesex by my doorstep, a shooting in Bergen, camden/passaic/newark/etc. I’ve seen lots of aggravated robberies or armed robberies. Drug related crimes and gang related shootings surprisingly. And tons of suicide. I think it just depends on your personal experience, but the way I see it, safety comes from less inequality gap in surrounding areas, and personal behavior (to roam around bad areas at night or not). It decreases your chances, but not extinguish them.
Great video... awesome commentary 💪🏼
Nice vid Nick!
What a beautiful place! Thanks for bringing these tours to everyone's home safely!!

People often forget that New Jersey is big (like 8M) people. And cities like Camden and Jersey City are only 100,000 people, so the majority of the state (north) is very wealthy and safe.
Really? I find that central Jersey is way richer
Thanks for the infoe
I'm from New England and, while I love living here, I am a little surprised at how well we show up in this list... Having lived here for decades, I have seen a huge increase in problems in rural NE with drug addiction and associated property crime within the last, say, 15 years. Are the NE states just doing well because the problems in the rest of the country are that much worse?
That's true everywhere. Rural areas (not all) have problems with Meth.
I live in ct I love it here I get united with nice ppl and get a nice taste of nature aswell

Kentucky has Constitutional care y. Wyoming has Constitutional carry, so anyone who might be thinking about it will be thinking twice. Maine, and Vermont both have constitutional carry too. Four of the top ten safest.

Imagine living in one of the highest crime rate states than like Alabama Louisiana Mississippi Florida or Georgia they are way worse.

Like I’ve said, every state has its own beauty and each has its own problems. God bless the USA!
Stay Red and Kentucky will be on my good side.
The only bad thing about it is it’s homophobia.
Kentucky is safe because if you try messing with and getting nasty with many good 'ole boys, they'll shoot you. So, it's low crime because fear of consequences - deterence.
This also totally disproves the lying, leftist, garbage premise that poverty = high crime, which is NOT true. What is true is that certain lack of values, ethnicities, are high crime, regardless of wealth level.

That's the entire US in a nutshell, I can't barely tell a state/town from another (except big cities such as NY, LA, etc)
I have owned a second home in NH for the past 15 years and absolutely love it there. Not only is it the safest place to live but also one, if not the lowest, cost of living states due partially to no income or sales taxes. It's also been rated one, if not the healthiest state to live in. Overall, NH rates tops in almost every catagory that's good. It's a fantastic place to live & raise a family. It used to be a very conservative state but with the influx of people from Massachusetts and other liberal states, the political scene is rapidly changing. Unfortunately, it's not for the better. If this influx continues at the rate that I have witnessed over my 15 years of going up there, most, if not all of the good ratings will decline. Very sad to see this happen to a state l love so very much. I attribute the safest state rating to the fact that it was always an open carry state until recently when the law was changed to allow concealed carry without a permit.
I have not been to NH or Vermont in many years. So it may be different now, but then they had almost no welfare. The people who wanted to live on welfare left and went to other states. Seems like having few poor around would affect this. But maybe it has changed.
@@junebyrne4491 you’re right. Few poor people means less crime.

In Maine, it has actually improved, now Maine is the best in terms of safety now, and has been for about the past year
California is really safe from crime…when you make crimes like robbery, rioting, shoplifting, break ins, prostitution, drug usage and dealing are legal…then the crime rate would be low…I bet that is the same for New Jersey and Connecticut.
On an island in Maine, there is lots of trouble here, i can remember some kids stole a golf cart and drove it off the pier one summer ago, and i wont even mention the amount of bicycles that get "borrowed" without the owners permission, crime is out of control, especially when the "summer folks" show up.

anybody notice that most of these safe states have very loose gun laws? three of them don't even require a permit for concealed carry, and a lot of the states with rougher gun laws like Connecticut or New Jersey probably don't belong on this list anyways. anyone that's been to Bridgeport, Camden Newark or Atlantic City would agree.

I'm surprised that Utah didn't make the list. People from California are coming here in droves, many to get away from gangs.
@Jake Merkley You're right. Since then I have seen many under the influence of various drugs. I use a Trail to get my exercise and see some people walking as if they've been taking Valium. Some have asked me if I have Marijuana or know where they can get some. It's hard to see how there can be so many people so ignorant in life. Jake, thanks for your comment.
@Jake Merkley It really is a sad commentary on all this drug infestation in the US. You would think that education could be the answer, but it isn't. I've been hearing this message for over 50 years and it still persists. I don't think that any message will cure the minds of this problem. This is something that we all will have to live with, doing the best we can, but knowing that it will still be around no matter what.
