    Finally someone addressing the fact that just because somebody has been a walker (or was engaged in a repetitive activity) does not mean they were doing it right! They could've actually caused more harm than good if they were not doing it properly. 👍Thank you...Much Respect🙏

      Is it good to use walking poles for stenosis ?,. thank you

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před rokem +2

      @@sharoncorfe8060 walking poles can help with balance and help you walk longer with stenosis. They don't fix the problem of course, but they can make it easier for some people to walk longer.

    I love your vids. What are your thoughts on footwear for walking, trainers, flip flops, barefeet, heels?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 11 měsíci +3

      Around the house, barefeet is good to train your foot muscles as long as you're not having bad symptoms to where you need support all the time. Supportive shoes with a wide forefoot are good for outdoors to allow your toes to spread out. People are different in their support needs. I'd advise going to a specialty running shoe store and having someone fit you based on your foot type and how much (or little) your pronate.

      Okay I’m doing the mid foot walk and it definitely hides the handicap limp but now I have a new kitten heel type of step that looks like I’m trying to be extra girly, I prefer the kitten strut over the hunchback limp, thank You!

    Makes a lot of sense. I'll start practice tomorrow. Does the foot lands on the outer edge of foot? Thanks!

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před dnem +1

      @lov2playtn not all the way on the outer edge, but toward the outer side of the bottom of the foot.

    I have spinal stenosis from my neck down through my back and have had three back surgeries to no avail and have had a series of 7 injections in my back and 3 in my neck. Nothing has helped. I walk with a cane and can only last about 20 feet. If the distance is longer, I have a power chair.
