@@jayjayarray Stefania was the Greek participant in 2021 and she was the only one carrying a flag. Last year, in 2022, a song called Stefania won so it's like she predicted the future.
During Eurovision 2022, all countries waved their flags. At this time, the Ukrainian flag cannot be crushed, crumpled and dispelled in the same way as other artists did. This is disrespectful to the very flag of the country. So Kalush did the right thing by simply carrying the flag in front of them. I don’t think it’s worth explaining how, during russian occupation of cities, people hid the Ukrainian flag in jars buried in the ground...💙💛
2016, 2019, and 2023 are the top 3 imo. 2022 looked bad with the broken 🌞 unfortunately

I liked countries getting announced in their own language
I also did not remember that artists it wasn’t usual at all for artists to carry the flag themselves, I think I prefer it without, but I also like that they get an opportunity to take pride flags with them this way
I didn't remember it not being standard either. However, I personally prefer it, since they can all add a personal touch, such as the pride flags.
This year's one was the most unique! I didnt expect to hear those British old hits in between the acts and then we had snippets of Ukrainian entries!

My favourites are 2019 and 2021. I love the 2022 for Junior Eurovision aswell.

2024: Red carpet premiere setting, artists wearing outfits of the flags with the flags projected on the screen
