CLIP DESCRIPTION:
One by one Max's (Emjay Anthony) family is taken from him by Krampus's minions until he's the last one.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
After losing his faith in Christmas and tearing apart his letter to Santa, a young boy (Emjay Anthony) accidentally summons the malevolent holiday demon Krampus. The following day, his family awaken to find that a massive blizzard has knocked out the power in their house, and they are soon forced to fight for survival as the fearsome folklore creature and his minions proceed to wreak havoc on the dysfunctional clan. Adam Scott, Toni Collette, and David Koechner co-star in this hybrid of black comedy and horror from director Michael Dougherty (Trick 'r Treat).

I think the reason Omi didn’t get her family back but Max did is because he stood up to Krampus. Max showed that he would rather face death then be without his family.

At first I thought it was a bad costume, because Krampus’ mouth was just hanging open, but I now realize there is another mouth behind the face, which I think means the demon is wearing an old dead man’s face.

Yeah, it would have worked, but it wouldn't have been as satisfying as the actual ending. The family are all together. They're safe, and remember what happened last night while unwrapping gifs.

I watched Krampus last night after 3 years of waiting, and it was just as enjoyable as I thought it would be
"I don't know how to drive a stick. We have a hybrid!" I know this is suppose to be a horror movie, but It's lines like these that that make me not take this movie seriously.

The soundtrack is so amazing. This version of silent night gives me the shivers and it wants to make me cry at the same time. Such a shame that this track wasn't included in the official score/soundtrack :(

I know. That's what bothers me the most in this movie. The movie tries so hard to make it look like Max is the guilty one when really, Stevie was to blame when you really think about it. At least in Max's letter, he had good intentions. I thought what he was wishing for was very sweet.

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Santa came into town with his faithful companion Krampus. As Saint Nicholas rewards the good boys and girls for all of the good deeds. But they’re a some aren’t jolly, some who aren’t nice, Krampus make sure that they pay the price. (Krampus with brace-knuckles with his name on them.)
Fun fact; Gideon Emery, Deucalion from Teen Wolf and Fenris from Dragon Age II, does the vocal effects for Krampus. :)

True story I was watching this with my family and I saw that it was an hour and a half and it was 9 26 when I checked my phone and this scene was on so I thought this was the end and I was like ooh this is good the first bad ending to a Christmas movie but then it went on so I was like 🙄
