- What’s happening in this Krampus movie clip?
Tom (Adam Scott from Parks and Recreation, and Step Brothers) and Sarah (Toni Collette from The Sixth Sense and Hereditary) have invited their family for Christmas dinner. Howard (David Koechner from Anchorman and Cheap Thrills) explains to Tom that he’s preparing his kids to be football players and makes fun of the fact that Tom went to the cub scouts. Linda (Allison Tolman from Prison Break and Good Girls) also makes fun of the food that Sarah spent a long time preparing, as it’s too complicated for them and they would have preferred Mac and Cheese with Hot Dogs. At the table, Max’s (Emjay Anthony from The Jungle Book and Bad Moms) cousins start reading out loud his Christmas card and making fun of it, which infuriates Max that runs and takes the letter out of their hands.

What’s the Krampus movie about?
When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony from The Jungle Book and Bad Moms) gets disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Meanwhile, this lack of festive spirit unleashes the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family's home and forcing them to fight for one another if they hope to survive.

Dad does not wish they were boys? Oh yeah he does, look at em. When your daughters are born you accept em as they are and you love em for it. Max is a good kid and he does deserve a prize just for telling the truth.

Stevie really can't blame Max for coming to that conclusion. I mean, his uncle named his daughters Stevie and Jordon. Yes, unisex names, but often perceived as masculine. Plus it looks like he tried raising them like boys. Plus, they weren't supposed to read that in the first place.

The grandma and Max were really the only good ones in that whole family who weren't toxic
And the baby's nice too - she has no idea that her sisters are bullies, her brother's a dunderhead and her folks are idiot enablers.
I thought Aunt Dorothy was cool, especially that small scene where she realizes how badly she's hurt her feelings and eases up.

Merry Christmas, Bigman 641; When my family gets together at Christmas time we are SO glad to see each other alive and healthy that we don't have time to be this type of toxic! And the youngsters? They screech and have good natured wrasslin' matches. It means they're well cared for and are healthy. I look forward to reunions and dinners at Christmas!
I agree, everyone knows what to expect from the teenage sister and all the adults even that bitter old hag of an Aunt there. But the two cousins are especially insufferable, why it seems only the dog and baby were the nice ones.
I really like this movie, the setting, the horror and the comedy, and the design of Krampus is awesome. Merry Christmas.!!! to all.

¡Pasu mecha! I'm SO glad my family's a lot more sane even if we all think differently.
My Aunts and cousins can be annoying cuz they ask dorky boring questions, hard of hearing, jokesters, and they still infantilize me and my sisters. But even my cousins would never have stooped so low as those two bullying brats did! Otherwise the older relatives woulda handed their butts to them - yeah, low tolerance for entitled people and short tempers run in the family.
In fact the grandma and the little baby were the only ones who were super nice. I still love Christmas regardless though, and I refuse to let anyone get me down out of pure spite. Heh-heh-heh.
So much hypocrisy displayed out of this family. They won't be getting their Christmas presents anytime soon, just copies of the Need For Speed Ghost Trilogy as payback for their unlikable mean-spirited attitude towards the holidays.
