To answer ur question: yes, because cars (especially turbo) love cooler air Temps, air molecules are more packed so the turbo can pack more into the engine then let's way when it's 100 outside. That's Why some refer to spring and fall as "boost weather"

a turbo car wants the coldest air possible. the colder the air the more power the engine puts out and vise versa

It looks like the OEM Golf R spoiler. I was looking at getting one for my GTI. Most prices I’ve seen are about $1000 USD

Probably, people aren't upgrading DP's on Mk8's, not needed for more power with OTS tunes.
