Hi Laura, lovely to see you back and so glad things are going well for you now (someone dear to me has recently had a baby after multiple miscarriages, so I can see exactly why you needed some time out)! A possible idea for a video (that doesn't require you to make lots of stuff right now) might be to review your previous me-mades (I always enjoy reading Making and Books' One Year Sewn blogs), if that's something you're happy doing. Finding out whether a design works or how the fabric has held up is enlightening, particularly to a slowcoach like me! Please don't feel you have to though. I'm so impressed by how much people share on CZcams and other socials (and how productive they are) and I know that I would never be comfortable with that for myself, so just do what you're happy to!

I would just like to say that my daughter had the same experience as you. She already had a 2 year old but took a long time to get pregnant again. Eventually she did in 2021 but had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. We were so pleased for her that she didn't have to wait so long to get pregnant again. Unfortunately at the 12 week scan they found that it had died. She then got pregnant again and the baby is due this month. Her friend had had the same experience after having her first 2 with no problems so she was very encouraging to my daughter. I am so pleased for you and your husband. I hope you can relax a bit now and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

Delighted to see you back. Do it at your own pace. You are 1st priority, so look after you first.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As someone who also miscarried I understand how difficult emotionally, physically and mentally it can be. I went on to have two beautiful boys and even though each pregnancy had it's element of fear, they were overall so positive. Just take care of yourself, rest when you can. Before you know it your little bundle of joy will be in your arms.
Wishing you the best and glad you are back and willing to share your journey over the next few months. I for one am looking forward to watching and hearing about your pregnancy makes - maybe have a look at some Cashmerette patterns or a sew along for them because they have facility for maternity and breastfeeding built into some of their makes I think. I am buying them for my large chest but would still be interested in a sew along for these patterns, if you felt up to it.
Main thing is to not put yourself under pressure, enjoy your pregnancy and look after yourself. Xxx

So so sooooo lovely to see you back Laura. Thank you for sharing about your last year and your miscarriage. It is great to hear you be honest about the struggles that can happen. I’m currently on my third round of IVF and sadly had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on my last round. I am so happy to hear you are doing so well and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes super smoothly, your baby will have THE best clothes I can imagine! Laura..first of all, I fell in love with your courage in a swimsuit on Instagram. Looked smashing on you. Second, I lost a child in miscarriage at seven months pregnancy and wept for a year so my heart goes out to you. Good for you for taking as much stress as possible off of yourself. Best of luck to you with having a healthy little one soon to come. ❤

Deepest condolences for you losses. I was just thinking about you a few days ago and here you are, back again. I’m glad you took the time you needed, I had a similar experience 25 years ago but I didn’t take the time, went back to work 2 weeks later and got on with life and 5 years later it hit me because I had never dealt with the loss. I will think of you often and hope with all my heart that all goes smoothly from now on x

It's so lovely to see you back here again. I have thought of you and wondered how you were.
A friend of mine had an almost identifcal experience - two miscarriages, then she went private for support for her 3rd pregnancy because of her extreme anxiety. I am delighted to say thet her 3rd and 4th pregnancies produced two lovely children - now young adults - and I hope that all continues well for you.
In terms of future videos, I would mostly like you to make anything that really appeals to you. However as a suggestion, I wondered about something playful - maybe using your bias to make interesting cushions or household items, or to decorate a tee or top. Those are just suggestions, but I think the idea of something playful and non-stressful is worth considering. Hopefully see you again soon.
Those are great ideas. I love the bias bindings, they are so unique.

*channels the color-blocking neon gods of the 80s* *hugs* I hope things go much better for you from here on out, and I'm thinking of building a small shed/shop out back so I can move my sewing room out of the basement and into a dedicated space as well (after I get the greenhouse built and up and running, that is lol). But that's gonna be down the road a while, as there's plenty of other projects on the go that I need to do first like the greenhouse, pig-pen (technically it's a barn where we used to have pigs, then grain, and now chickens in part of it, but there's still room on the other side of it for pigs), chicken pen and run down to the garden, half a dozen larger raised garden beds, corrals, shop, shed, deck steps, deck ramp, deck railing, sun-room on the deck, wood-box door, etc etc. But for now, ON WITH THE COLOR-BLOCKED NEON JUMP-SUITS!!! lol
