Generation Zero. Welcome to 1980's Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and hostile machines roam the streets fight off the hostile machines solo or with a team, scavenge for weapons and loot in the fight to survive and find out what or who caused all of this.

yeah tbh I’m getting worried that a lot of content is going to be locked behind pay walls for no reason, like can’t they pick one type of pack to monetise like the gun or outfit packs stay monetised and the others aren’t. why are the bikes behind a paywall when they are a community request?
Sorry to ask i also buy the dlc but why i cant seems to find the motorbike except moped ?

I'll probably get this DLC later on, I want to have a chance to enjoy the new patch content and pootle around on the moped first. Not going to lie though, the though of hooning around farmland on an 80s scrambler bike IS very appealing!
All we need now is a bike with an extra seat or sidecar for the military bike so we can bring a friend as a ride along gunner! 😁
I bought it to support the dev team, that being said I think the dirt bikes are better than the mopeds. Much more fun IMO. The dirtbikes are an addition I didn't know I wanted, glad they did it.
Yeah the dirt bikes seem to be at least 20-30 km faster..
They need to add a saddle bag option so you can store stuff on the bikes that would be nice
Play testing the dlc before release would have found that out immediately.

I like the idea and I'll get this dlc when it's on sale. Just don't find it worth the 7 bucks they're asking currently

The motorcycle pack is definitely worth that purchase. I've done my bit and have purchased every pack that the game offers. What I'd like to see now is for the developers to do their part and open up the remaining islands in the game. I'm frankly tired of a weapon pack here, or motorcycles, or a new machine. They need to open up those islands ASAP. It's been far too long since we had meaningful content.
I've had this game crash 3 times in an hour tonight which definitely blows since i usually lose most of my progress. its too bad they haven't fixed the Framreate or Crashing issues yet. Especially after dropping more money on Paid DLC for this game..

Thinking about buying this DLC, I’m a regular player of generation zero, I love the game. it would be good if they added ATVs.
Bought this DLC instantly since I've been watching the game since beta, and playing since it dropped on Xbox. Ever since I saw the concept art for them, I kept waiting for them to be added.

which DLC should I buy? I have them all up to the Base Defense Pack, which ones are the best to buy? Like good to haw and must haw type of ?
I got it as soon as but tbh if you've unlocked the 60+ safe houses then are they really needed? Hell no but are they fun? Hell YES...... and if you use a controller you can do wheelies by pulling back on the stick !!

Its a pitty that a first peron view with your handle bars was not created. That would fit more with whats going on an less gimicky.
I'm always fascinated by how different people value different things. I'm not in the business of telling anyone what something should be worth to them because that is, obviously, subjective but the one area I am constant outlier in is the value of games.
£7 is currently $13AUD which over here might get you 2 cups of coffee, $16AUD will get you a ticket to a movie. Most gamers think $70US ($100AUD) is very big bikkies, indeed, for a game but that wont get you cabs, drinks, dinner and 2 tickets to the movies for 5 hours out on a friday night.
While games last 10, 15 or 20 hours. Sometimes games give weeks, months or years of entertainment. And they are cutting edge and they often, as is the case with GZ, even come with a support crew! No other hobby does that! Unless you call a sports career like Formula 1 a hobby🤓
Gaming as a technically advanced, absorbing, intellctually involving, adrenaline pumping, complex and deep hobby and is also one of the cheapest on earth.
Ask a dancer, a rock climber, a boatie or a car guy how much their hobby costs. I can spend $4000 on my beautiful old car in 20 seconds I need to do that probably 4 times this year just to make the minimum progress it needs (but i wont do it even twice and, as its delapitated and neglected condition can demonstrate, I'm very very very far from well-off) and all of these hobbies cost 10s of 1000s per year to be enjoyed at anywhere near the cutting edge but gamers need only spend a fraction of that to be gaming in style.
I'm actually statistically speaking, poor, but 13 dollars for a virtual motorbike is, to my mind, an absolute steal and gaming is the one area that I think a lot of us could afford a bit of a different perspective on. 1 night out? Or a year of entertainment?
A ticket to a movie that's all-over-red-rover in between 90min and 3 hours? Or a motorbike that lasts as long as the game does?
The military bike is a dispatch rider's bike - so on-road... The British Army has the same sort of thing, or rather did in my day (seventies), which looked just like that and was BSA 250. Went a lot quicker than that, though...
Repair kits should be equipable consumables instead, making it so you dont accidentally repair the bike when you want to get on it.
Not on ps4, I have played since day one with no problems what so ever, until installing the new update, which completely broke my game. The game crashes every time I try to load a saved game or start a new one. Hope they fix this ASAP.
i Just bought this game(complete collection) and unfortunately the motorbikes DLC was NOT included...that said, if I, OR my friend buy this DLC, can ONE OF US get the motorbike(or better yet TWO) so friends can ride them along side? or do BOTH players NEED the DLC?
I would like to use the motorcycles in game but even time me or when my friend joins and we try use them our game crashes I hope they fix this problem on Xbox
They lowered the speed of all the bikes at some point because I use the dirt bike everywhere and it's top speed on the road even is 45 kph. Makes up for it by being able to go overland instead of just on the roads.
I'll maybe buy them at some point 👉 especially if the game doesn't cut off whilst riding on moped .

if I buy the base game and all the dlc can my friends who only have the game and the 2 expansion play with me and use the bikes too if I host?

Is there a frag grenade schematic in the game or you can't craft grenades?
I've definitely never seen one in my many hundreds of hours exploring but grenades are very easy to farm like everything in this game.
It was nerfed a while back so is pretty useless anyway. Use pipe bombs if you have the dlc
No cars or trucks?
From what I gather using them is that the Dirt bike is the best for offroad, but it's HP is pretty low and can get broken by machines easy. Military bike has the best top speed but mainly for staying on roads and loses a lot of speed of them. The Resistance bike is kinda in between the two in terms of offroad handling and is slower than the others, but it's biggest benefit is that it's HP is the highest and can take the most punishment from the machines.

walk I used bicycle for the race do own motorbikes they are crap so I walked everywhere,well fast travelled to bases then walked

I mean I'm okay with the story dlcs and the balanced dlc weapons and skins. But having to pay for better bikes is where i draw the line for p2w! I ain't gonna spend 7dollars on this.
How is it pay to win if it's not a PVP game?
The dirt bike model is a too small, they look like a kids 50cc. I have had 2 dirt bikes and both were a lot bigger than that, my DTR 125 was way bigger.
And I bet it did way more than 80kmh

bikes are fucking slow and you lose like 1% of fuel every 2-3 seconds witch is really stupid and it cost alot too aint worth buying shit
The dlcs are a ripoff. They haven't finished the game and they are selling 3 weapons for real world money. Not to mention the useless cosmetics everything is padded with. This game could have been sooooo good. Its the barebones of a great game. Unfortunately the devs are too busy making crap dlc to realise that fully. Nearly all these dlcs should have been part of the base game.
oh my goodness this looks horrible. 70-80kph top speed? seriously? THATS IT? theres no way im spending money for three mediocre motorcycles when i can just fast travel... bike physics are horrible as well! if theyre not fun, then i dont see a point in buying them. thats my opinion.

I got the game after watching some streams. Fun gunfights, beat the story on max difficulty and was highly disappointed. Bland bunker after bland bunker all the way to the end of the story. I don't see any reason why anyone would buy this basic content as dlc other than to throw money at the devs for a job poorly done.
Ahh, thats why i don't like Generation Zero, Another DLC that is Over expensive. already paid for the game and and DLC and another and another and another.
I find most of the DLC for this game useless. The weapons packs? Worse than any stock weapons and you lose the ammo that is for the most effective weapons when you are farming to ammo for the useless weapons. How can you people think that this game isn't garbage?
Some of the DLC weapons are way better than the stock guns and much more fun to use. Plus the C4 Is probably the best thing in the game..
Ok seriously what the fuck, another dlc? I kinda understand the weapons packs but this has to be a joke. Generation Zero is a game that that’s develops after how the fans wants it to be so why the fuck do you need to pay for something that you have requested for years especially when it could easily have been added for free. Same with the base and support-items pack. I just don’t get it, half the game is not even there when you buy it and looking at an all weapons video is just sad. I hate to say it but this game is scam and you should not buy it. I get that they need to make money in some way but this is not the right one.

way too late for this i struggled with the wight system for so long wishing to bring something like this till i finished the game long time ago and im not interested to play it again sorry
If you own the game I would definitely at least check it out again as the weight system has been overhauled and extra storage has been added.
