Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 7 years.

The main reason this trip happened was because George had a business meeting in Rome so we all decided to come and join him. Im m so happy to have had this time with my sister and parents! I've been back in Thailand for a few days now but I still have lots of videos to post of my European trip. I got behind on the editing because I wanted to enjoy the time with my family. I never watched for Lily, I think she is kind of selfish, but my opinion, I always look for Nam, you can see they have no clue about the Italian man, my mom is Italian so I and I have a lot of family still there.
I love how Lilly is all about Luke. That little boy is lucky to have a mom like Lilly. If it wasn’t for her, Luke wouldn’t be the boy we all love and enjoy watching.

Luke is so blessed to get to travel and learn new stuffs while travelling. That kid becomes adoptable at a young age and he gets to see the world as abundant. He will grow up as a resourceful person. I wonder what he would turn out to be when he's an adult. I am sure he's gonna be successful. Pls observe what he is good at and what is natural to him, so he will end up doing what he loves and at the same time helping people while doing what he loves. Just want to share you a quote I read - "The purpose of human life is to serve, and show compassion, and the will to help others. Life is an exciting business, and most exciting when it's lived for others. You can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about it's width and depth." I am so glad you come to Italy, to Roma , I'm watching you from the North of Italy, and I can tell you the Italian people are like you see with big smiles .In every place you go you will enjoy the hospitality and the food is so so good that you never want to finished . I'm in Italy about 16 years ,and I worked in Torino ,Verona ,Bergamo and then I travel with my two kids and husband to visit the beautiful places from this country. Is amazing in every way you wanna go, even when you choose a small town or a big town you will find always something special and when we talk about the Church they have so many beautiful Church in every little village you go. I'm in my 60's now, but (in the late 70's) when I was in my early 20's, my friends and I camped through Italy, and all I can say is that Italian men are very forward with their advances and it shocked my friends and me. That was 40-plus years ago!

You and your family should check out Florence, Italy. I believe Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy.

What a wonderful experience for you to have with your family… when the other kids are Luke’s age you can go again.. and bring Nam and your hubby, if he will go it might be hard getting him to leave Thailand just for a short visit….my grandparents are from Italy, my grandmother was from Calabria and my grandfather was from Rome… I have never been, one day maybe my two sisters and myself will take a trip there and trace our roots .. maybe find some distant family.

Hi lily, I'm from Rome. Go and have pizza for dinner in Trastevere, at the restaurant called " ai marmi" ( on viale Trastevere) it's one of the best pizza places in Rome, and it's still an authentic pizzeria, as it used to be in Rome. Try also the antipasti, they are also tipical Roman. For Roman food go and try "giggetto" in the ghetto, at portico D'Ottavia ( try the artichokes and both pasta and meat), or " Perilli" in Testaccio( via marmorata). Have a nice stay☺️

I am telling you it's so easy to fall in love with Rome. Rome is such a fun city. They have the best food, omg, the carbonara, saltimbaco, gelato, tiramisu. The men are super charming, the women too.
