- Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 Oil Change Using Aftermarket Oil & Filter. I found that genuine parts are overly priced especially for the filter when filter is just filter as long as you replace every oil change, so wanted to share my research as far as fitment concern on Cub Cadet XT1 model!

The Curious Brain: An Indian living in the USA who learned pretty much everything himself!!! I think is so unfair that innocent people have to spend hard-earned $$$ (After TAX), and priceless time, and deal with the crazy world out there to get things repaired. I believe this is my opportunity (as my busy schedule allows) to create good content where I should share back tips & tricks to help others achieve their confidence with their DIY projects!
My goal with this channel is to start with DIY-related videos in English to help people with their DIY projects and being an Indian, planning to make videos in Hindi to help people in India with Visa/GreenCard/Citizenship related issues while sharing my journey/experiences/hiccups including my USA experiences from an Indian point of view especially after living in USA for 12 years and maybe more as I move forward on this CZcamsr journey!
As far as my education, I hold 2 bachelor's and master's degrees in CyberSecurity including over 10 years experience in IT Industry. I guess I can teach a lot of stuff via CZcams so why not start this Channel? Help me support this channel to keep me motivated including sharing your thoughts so I can invest more time to bring good valuable content to the table!

Not all filters are created equal. There are multiple substitutes for the Kohler filter. I go with a premium Purolator filter rather than a cheap one. Project Farm and other CZcamsrs have done extensive comparisons, so cheap is not beneficial. I spend around $8 at an auto supply store.
Longer filter causes the steering control arm to rub on the filter turning right
Depends on length, the one I'm using doesn't...so far so good!

Thanks for the explanation! Actually, I did replace my blades and spindle on this mower last year but I wasn't planning to be CZcamsr at that time so didn't document anything but I do think I took pictures of my work.Good idea, i will go-ahead and create a video on replacing blade and spindle using aftermarket since factory blades were crazy expensive, so you're required to replace spindle because the way factory spindle are designed.
