Also a well developed port very near ,Tuticorin. To make a port forfitable, what analysis you did? What volume should be achieved? How it can be, cost comparision is 1:3, who can such a huge difference can be zchieved? Blind propagation hiding the facts.

There can never be too many good ports. Several people question the feasibility of having two ports in Kerala - there is also some discussion about Colachel port in TN. But, if we are to grow in double digits fuelled by manufacturing, these ports are all very important
