  • In this video we are taking a look at the revolutionary Acezone A-Live headset - a first of its kind. This headset takes the best technology currently used in aviation and tailors it to the specific needs of professional gamers. Great passive + active noise canceling, a noise rejecting microphone and a ton of features that make it currently the best headset you can use when gaming at a pro level. This was a unique opportunity for me and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did!

    LGD on stage right now for Dota ti11, they are switching to ear buds and leaving these headphones on the table. Are they cheating or is there an earbud version?

      Players will sometimes use in-ear headphones underneath the headset for extra noise isolation. Maybe you caught them during a break when they had their headsets off.

    Pro who? Could you give me names?

    • @odysseyofcuriosity
      @odysseyofcuriosity  Před 3 měsíci

      These headphones are used by major esports tournament organizers during large events. So all competing pro players will end up using them on stage. If you want specific names, you can look up, for example, all of the participating teams in the latest CS 2 major in Copenhagen. Every player that took part in that tournament has used these headphones during official matches. Hope this helps!

      @@odysseyofcuriosity Using it sponsored by a big competition is different from using it because the pros want to. It is a known fact that pros only use the noise canceling function in competitions and use earbuds inside

    Not using your own headset at a tournament seems like an awful way to go about it. Players probably get accustomed to the tuning of the headphones they use, and not having that equal FR probably can mess up their perception of distance.

    • @GribGFX
      @GribGFX Před 11 měsíci

      Most headphones aren't made for blocking out crowd noise and large speakers playing game noise and casters. An esports specific headset makes sense.
      And it's assumed pros won't cheat and take them off as the benefits of being able to hear your pov of the game outweigh background noise and foreshadowed tense moments.

    • @rhyvehr
      @rhyvehr Před 11 měsíci

      @@GribGFX Yeah, i get that. its just you get used to a specific headphones sound representation and it gets skewed if you switch. Either these need to be commercially available for practice purposes, or not at all

    • @GribGFX
      @GribGFX Před 11 měsíci

      @@rhyvehr True. If they're not already available to pros for practice, they should be.

      These headphones are only really used for the mic and noise cancelling. They use earbuds underneath these headphones and the game audio goes through those, so they don't really need to adjust to anything.
