I like how this guy thinks, and say that he can "speak things into happening", like whatever he says will happen will happen. its not that he's predicting it, he's making it so it will happen. like, think of the rain thing, it started as son as he approached, and then once he said it, it began. it wasnt delayed like the other things. besides, as this video guy says, that would honestly be a way cooler power
@@FewVidsJustComments That would be cool, but his power is prophecy and that cant change. Remember that the scene where it rains when he approaches is in someones mind, and is exaggerated greatly. And the line (your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read) stabilizes this.

Can we take a moment to notice that felix was serious until she said "MY wedding day" then his expression changes and he gets excited to tell about "OUR wedding day" and still found it a joyous day dispite the hurricane? Even funnier when you notice that peppa gave him a look when he started singing like "uhhh this is my song" love the details
Their relationship warms my heart. Peppa needed someone who'd calm her down and Félix is such a patient husband.
I really enjoyed seeing that tiny bit of detail show off so clearly their personalities. Pepa is shown as someone very emotional and I think it's almost a commentary on how emotional, anxious women are also seen as somewhat self-centered.
Felix is just the best and I wish he was in more of the film
What I don't understand about it is why they married in a hurricane. Weather manipulation is *her* power so turning her wedding into a hurricane is on *her* , not Bruno.
What is funny is that the song ends in a madrigal (a together song). Fits the family, doesn't it.

SPOILER ALERT: Also, Bruno can read the future, he doesn't control what happens. He is Mirabel's uncle, so she wants to find out why he disappeared. He's seen as the villain by his family and everyone in the town, but isn't actually, he's misunderstood.
a big twist in the movie is the fact that he isn't the villain, so I kinda hope he doesn't read this comment

I am absolutely loving seeing a reaction to this song out of context from the movie haha, it’s super mysterious if you haven’t seen it! I went through all your ends to videos, it was fun to see you react and realise as you go. I absolutely love this movie and so do my kids. I think it has to be one of ( if the not the very) the best movies they’ve put out so far 😃
Bruno can predict the future, he has visions of what will happen. One of Bruno’s visions was in Mirabelle: the curios girl’s bag.
The vision was Mirabelle causing cracks in the house. Mirabelle thought it was cuz she didn’t have a gift. So Mirabelle was trying to track down Bruno to confront him and ask him how she can fix the cracks and stop them from happening. Bruno also left the family but her abuela wouldn’t tell her why. So she also wanted to ask him about that too. The guy you saw in the song is Camilo, his power is to shape shift, and he was turning into Bruno. Bruno is not a villain. Also, ever since the cracks started forming, the buff girl (Luisa) was getting very weak. You can see a glimpse of her trying to move a pot near the end of the song and at the end she joined the dancing but was very sad about loosing her power. Hope this stopped some confusion.

The woman who was getting married Papa, has the weather tied to her emotions. Bruno didn't will the hurricane into existence, he said it looked like rain and that caused Pepa's emotions to spiral as the weather continually got worse. The Family Madrigal explains who everyone is, how they are all related, and what everyone's powers are, but I would advise having the lyrics up too because many of the details get rushed through, especially towards the back third.

Guessing he's not familiar with fiction involving prophecies and oracles, because his misunderstanding comes from not picking up on the multiple mentions of prophecies in the song or recognizing the pattern formed by the villagers petty misfortunes (that they were normal things that inevitably happen).

I remember watching We dont talk about bruno for the first time and i literally thought camilio was bruno because they looked the same-
Bruno is her uncle. Not really evil, just hated because his prophesies tend to be about futures that people don't want to actually know. He got a bad reputation and blamed for them even though he is just tried to warn people bad things were coming...
The random "ohhhh, its this!" And it just being way off is hilarious. Lol

Bruno is a family member, but they are scared of him because his gift is SO powerful and becausesometimeshe warned them about things going to happen they didnt like, the blamed him and thought ge was making things happen.he doesn't make things happen, he just knows whats going to happen. Ok, so Bruno is Mirabel’s uncle. She wanted to talk and know about Bruno because she saw herself in one of Bruno’s visions, that’s what the glowing green thing was. Bruno can see the future, not wish anything into existence. Bruno isn’t evil or a villain, he’s misunderstood (mostly by Abuela). Anyway, Mirabel is NOT Bruno and she did NOT wish him back into existence. What happened was Bruno simply wanted to leave because Abuela was making it seem like he was a villain. But, in reality, he never left. He hid inside of the walls with the rats.
Ugh camilo can turn into anyone he wants so he shapeshifted into Bruno at "7 foot frame rats along his back, when he calls your name it all fades to black. Yeah, he sees your dreams and feasts on your screams"

Bruno has visions of the future. Which scares people when what he "sees" is not something desirable to them. Pepa, the woman singing about her wedding at the start, controls the weather; or rather "doesn't", as it's affected by her emotions, which she has trouble controlling. She's always anxious. Bruno telling his sister who has an unruly gift over the weather, that it looks like rain, was facetiousness, about her nervousness. Basically like saying,"You look pretty nervous. I guess we can expect some rain. " But she apparently took him literal, & her anxiety went through the roof, which caused Her to cause a hurricane. But she thought it was Bruno's vision or prophecy that caused it.
Bruno, doesn't feel beneficial, so he leaves. He's not mean, or evil, or uncaring. Quite the opposite. He's just misunderstood.
He cannot speak things into existence. But they think he can. So they're afraid of him.
Abuela (the Grandmother) had Triplets. Bruno, Pepa, & Julietta. Julietta is Mirabel's Mother. Bruno is her Uncle, & Pepa is her Aunt. Mirabel wants at 1st just to find Bruno's vision which is captured like a picture on emerald, (& which he had when Mirabel was 5), because she heard it was about her. But that doesn't tell her enough, so then she feels she needs to find Bruno himself, to get answers. There's a little more to it than that, but trying not to spoil it too much for you.
Bruno doesn't have two powers. Nobody in the Madrigal family does. Bruno's power is that he can see the future, though he typically sees bad outcomes. The boy who turned into him is Camilo, whose power is shapeshifting.

Please tell me you actually watched this movie after. It's so good and the reason why it's so popular is because so many people (mostly adults though) can relate to the struggles of these characters and their family dynamics. Bruno is the black sheep of the family who is very misunderstood, but mistreated because people think he's the cause of their issues, when in fact all he does is see the future which is inevitable.

As I mentioned in your @Surface pressure” video, the main character Mirabel is trying to save the gifts and she tried to find one of Bruno’s prophecies hoping that would provide her with the answers she needs. But finding the prophecy if anything actually make an already bad situation worse!
Bruno had already disappeared years ago by this point and everyone had already disliked him so when he disappeared they just wrote him off, stopped talking about him and acted like he never existed. Like I said, sh*t end of the stick!

Bruno isn't evil or the villain. His family pushed him away because they didn't like his visions of the future because they weren't positive. Bruno has two twin sisters, one being Pepa (the red head) and Julieta (Mirabel, Isabella, and Luisa's mother) making Bruno their uncle/ Tio.
Pepa's moods control the weather and she's told to hide her emotions so she doesn't cause a storm. On her wedding day, her twin Brother, Bruno, showed up and basically told her that he could see she was emotional. She decided to take that as a bad sign, causing a hurricane. But Bruno was really just trying to tell her it's okay to show her emotions.
