China now possesses the world’s largest maritime fighting force, operating 234 warships to the U.S. Navy’s 219. This count of China’s fighting ships encompasses all of its known, active-duty manned, missile- or torpedo-armed ships or submarines displacing more than 1,000 metric tons, including the 22 missile-armed corvettes recently transferred to the China Coast Guard but not the approximately 80 missile-armed small patrol craft operated by the PLAN.
This is one tough enemy. IN is a fraction of its size, submarines and drones will be crucial to turn the tide here. The PLAN currently operates six nuclear-powered ballistic
missile submarines (SSBN), six nuclear-powered attack submarines (SSN), and 48 diesel powered/air-independent powered attack submarines (SS). The PLAN’s submarine force is
expected to grow to 65 units by 2025 and 80 units by 2035 despite the ongoing retirement of older hulls due to an expansion of submarine construction capacity.
3 subs in 6 years is a joke in the fact of the tsunami that is coming.

If we are to wait for 6 years we might as well as get 6 boats. 3 is too low but expected from both the navy decision making process and our yards.

@@foodietour8313 yes fir uska baad maybe 3 saal ka andaar sari submarine deliver ho jaygi kyoki pheli submarine ka inaugration I mean induction ka samay 2nd submarine 75% or 3rd submarine 45% ready ho jayegi baki sarkar ka upar deal sign ka liya but Indian Navy apna liya janti hai ki unha kya chahiye toh wo dekh lenga they are best because wo indigenisation pe focus karta hai baki sabra ka phal meetha hota hai. Ek cheez bhaut chintamay ha ki china apni fleet rapidly expend kar raha hai.
