Great production, criminally underrated piece of work.
This is amazing, I’m at the park currently trying to brain storm for a short film idea for class and the only idea I could come up with was ‘having trouble finding an idea for a short film’ and then I stumbled onto this video and you guys nailed it perfectly 😭.
When you have the production skills and ideas, but no budget 😅. This was great.

I am always astonished when someone trying to tell me how to make a video doesn't understand the basics of sound recording.
will never pass up an opportunity to learn! what could we have done better? (keeping in mind there was no crew on this one, just mia and i and our camera haha)
Many scenes have terrible reverb. You have to figure out how to reduce reverb. (There are no reverb filters.) If, as you say, you were recording sound with just your camera, it might be time to use an external microphone. If you used an external microphone, perhaps you should use a different type, such as a lavaliere or a small shotgun You might also consider hanging blankets on the walls where you have a lot of reverb. You might decide to shoot sequences in places (unlike an elevator) that have less reverb. (Was shooting inside an elevator essential to this video?) It's said that sound is half the movie. It certain deserves as much consideration as the visual.
