Well said! As for sunlight, it's not just that but UV rays also. I have my windows treated with UV blocking film, heat reflection, and 2 sets of 100% light/UV blocking curtains on a double rod.

Very great tips man The humidity should always be under 60% and above 30% 👍

I learned the hard way about direct sunlight with some of my LEGO Architecture sets. 😒

Humidity can wreak havoc on figures. However... excessively dry air can also do a lot of damage to the pleather, and other soft goods.
Air quality and excessive sunlight, are the two most important things that need to be addressed when collecting these sixth scale figures.
I started collecting 1/6 back in 08'. And haven't had a single issue with the longevity of the figures I own.

A lot of figures are prone to deteriorate especially those with pleather parts (holsters, jackets, belts etc) but in the end what you just stated matters the most as they are major contributing factors of deterioration. But some people don’t really care about exposing them to sunlight or humidity, smoke cigarettes near indoors etc and nothing. Its you and your luck i guess

@@salimel4835 You're right! There are a lot of collectors that don't care about the surrounding areas or environment to which their figures are displayed in. Direct sunlight exposure, tobacco smoke, excessive dust, and humidity levels are definitely the most common causes of figure deterioration.
I think that most collectors are aware of these damaging factors. Yet some people just don't care!
I take great care of my collection. And therefore, I take the necessary precautions to avoid deterioration.

What about if I keep my figures inside the box ? Time could affect them ?
