Great display! Costa Mamalis (Pop Culture Livingroom) was the original creator that posted the tutorial that Peter followed. Peter has a larger following but I feel like he deserved a mention for his contribution.
I know a few creators have completed the project but wasn’t aware of who the “creator” was. Thanks for the reference!
I have a couple of thoughts for how to build the next one. First, cut the back into individual pieces for each shelf. Cut them wide enough to cover the shelf adjustment holes on each side of the frame. Glue magnets to the back of each backing and use those to adhere the backs to the shelf frame. That will hide those adjustment holes. Second, in the same manner, go to the trim aisle of the big box hardware store and buy some thin slats of wood. They are really inexpensive. Paint them black and using the same magnet solution, cut them to size and use them to frame the front of the shelving frame and hide those adjustment holes as well. This would make it look a lot like your other shelves. Regardless, the collection looks great!
Hey, great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Use super glue on the edges to avoid the peeling.
Excellent display 👍🏽. Has anyone tried screwing the side acrylic panels to the frame?? Since those wont move , is it possible to uses screws, washers and bolts? Thank you.
@@RobChav504 I’m sure it would be possible! That or magnets
Awesome video Graeme! I’m really glad my video helped inspire ya with the custom build, thanks for that quick shoutout 😊
Man I was considering getting this exact Muscle Rack with 24” depth for another build to have the option for larger vehicles in the future so it’s really cool to see how well it worked out here.
Btw I’m super envious of your Batmobile & Tumbler 🤩🤤 Happy collecting my friend! 🙏
Thanks so much for watching Peter! Your video made it super easy to follow. Love your content and you are a posing wizard!
Zip ties will work on the backboard
That’s a good idea👍🏻
Set up looks good mate, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Great video, I have watched Peter’s video as well and I will definitely tackle this project !
Thanks for watching!
I think once you throw some acrylic on them, you're gonna have a beautiful case there imo
I had a hard time finding a way to cut them to size. Decided to go to Moducase.
LOL. 👍🏻 @@thejediknightswatch
Great video ! Love the result, having a nice display really adds something to a collection :)
I’m kind of surprised how much I like it. We’ll see over time if I regret not adding plexiglass or not.
It's a great idea 💡
What if you used small black screws through the holes on the vertical beams and into the back board?
I think that would be a great idea!
Great video and great job creating that clean look!
Thanks dude! Appreciate it!
Awesome!!
Thanks brother
No problem. Thanks for watching!
Great video…..Fab you got this
😂
It smells like I told you so in here!
I think it smells like teen spirit
@@thejediknightswatch 🤣
How does the duct tape on the backboard hold up over time?
Not very well lol. I would say it should be fastened via nut and bolt or Maybe Velcro.
@@thejediknightswatch thanks for the quick reply. I’ve had my background loose for a while now.
Great video, how dirty are the sheets getting without plexiglass?
They didn’t get too dirty at all, but I have since switched to Moducase.
what did you film this with or take the photos with? great quality.
Thanks! I used my iPhone 14 pro
How did you attach the back board to the rack?
I used the black duct tape to adhere the backboard to the back of the rack.
Someone told me you could also use Velcro strips.
What Turles are those and how much were they and are they still available :D The MK 1989 BM is hype AF too!
Neca 1/4 tmnt. They’ve been king sold out. Your best bet is eBay. You can maybe find them for $500-600 total
@@thejediknightswatch Thanks! Seems Entertainment Earth is selling them in 2024 and theyre available for presale now.
This is cool is have a garage shelves just like this all I need is to get everything else and what’s funny the 1/4 scale Batman makes the Batman mobile so tiny it would been awesome to have a 1/4 scale batmobile would be so huge
Yeah I think a 1/4 batmobile would be the size of a room! Lol
@@thejediknightswatch 😅 too big hehe gona start working on this project soon
