In all sincerity keep doing what you're doing because this is a big education for beginning collectors like myself in 1/6 scale your Channel enabled me to get these cases cuz I saw them so many times with different people but didn't know the name or the company and your channel certainly gives a good guideline and how to display how to add lights and how to put them together and stack them up I want to get these cases for my figures and soon down the line to get them for vehicles thanks again for the great information

Detolfs went from 60$ to 130$…these Moducases are getting worth it as time goes by for me
When I started collecting detolfs we’re $60. Crazy how time changes things!

One thing you didn't mention, Graeme, is the sixth series comes in other sizes, including one that is 22 inches wide and 39 inches tall (good for that Anakin on the STAP), as well as an agled corner unit, so the sizes can be mixed together and configured as needed.
Likewise with the DF series.
Yeah I could have touched on that more. I did say there were numerous sizes but for the sake of the comparison I was picking the common sizes. Maybe another video I can go into more depth!
man I just got my sixth2200 last weekend and totally feel what you said in the video. The viewing angle is very limited on the bottom cube that is on the floor. I don't see a solution except getting a riser here..

I got the DF120 for my Jazzinc BvS Batmobile, The Batman Batmobile, 1966 Batmobile and HT DeLorean.
@@1515cciI was thinking that but went with the max 140. Figure it’ll give me enough space to set up the display the way I’m hoping an not take up to much space
@@degrate85 yeah, it really boils down to how you want display your figures. I had to decide myself. At one point, I considered the Max but that was definitely too big.
Great Video , I need some advice please i am totally new to collecting statues and bust .. I am doing a small Horror room one whole wall will be for displaying full size head horror bust on stands. some are pretty tall , I for sure will go with the taller series but my question is on the lighting for that spooky look i'd want to go warm right and prob spotlight so i can focus the lighting angles better ?
It’s all in your preference. I prefer pure white to warm. I also like the led strips because the provide a more even light. But maybe you want the spot lights to focus on certain area. You def want at least the max size cases, but always measure prior. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Thanks for this great video, I'm lucky my 2 DF120 coming by the end of April, question I have if you can help, do they come with a velvet bottom rack? I don't know if I read that anywhere but curious. Thanks
Yep the base is wood covered in velvet!
one question that bothers me a lot is, when cleaning room with a vacuum since you have a carpet, are you not afraid you will scratch the plexiglass ? i was considering buying raisers to avoid such an accident (at least I've heard it's very easy to scratch those display panels so I was wondering how do you deal with it when cleaning the floor)
Yes plexiglass scratches a lot easier than glass.
When I vacuum I just make sure I have a couple inches of space between the vacuum and the cases.
Been considering these cases for a while. I mostly have 1/4 Scale statues so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on these unless I know for sure they will fit.
You’ll def want the DF or MAX. They do have all the measurements on their website.
@The Jedi Knights Watch Got it. One other question. Is it possible to fit other light strips inside of the case such as Phillips Hue? I have a few of those in my house and would like it to match if at all possible.

is the Moducase Sixth110 you have your star wars figures in? and does it come with a shelf at the back to stagger them?
Yes those are the sixth110 cases. The riser is sold separate on the website.
Hey what did you end up going for as far as lighting? LED spotlight set of 4 or 6 or did you go with LED strip?
LED Strip as it gives a more even light among the case.
Do you prefer pure or warm white for the led lighting?
I prefer pure white.
I just received the jazzinc 66 batmobile. I ordered the sixth110 to house it. Do you think that was the right choice and is it strong enough to support it? Thank you for answering my question
I’m not sure of the dimensions or the weight but I’m assuming it will be a tight fit since the 89 batmobile has just enough room. DF would give you more space but you won’t know for sure until you try it or get the measurements.
I never considered getting the SIXTH series of Moducases, but you brought up some good reasons someone might have for selecting 'em. Me, I'm all DF, all the time. Had someone on Reddit ask me about the Hulkbuster. He had the nerve to complain about the price of the DF 60, one of the few display cases able to fit that $1,100 figure. If you've got the cheddar to buy the Hulkbuster, you should be able to afford to properly display it! It's an investment in your collection!
Haha that’s great! Yeah it surprises me when collectors complain about spending the money lol. It’s a great way to put your figures over the top!
I know this is an older comment but I'm thinking about getting the DFs as well - which Hulkbuster statue are you talking about here? I'd like to look it up for size comparisons

No it will not.
Hi Jedi, you mind sharing who are your TMNT figures from? What brand etc
They are 1/4 scale figures made by NECA. They are long sold out so you’ll need to look for them on the secondary market.
How tall are the TMNT in the bottom DF case?
Tmnt stands about 16-16.5 inches.
I'm a newbie collector what case should I get for a 1/6 scale statue.
You’ll need to do research to see what best fits in your space, but sixth110 cases are made for 1/6 figures. I prefer the DF120 cases because I can stagger the figures in 3-4 rows. It gives you more space to work with. Either way, both are great choices.

You would need a DF120 for the tumbler or something custom

Will any of these moducases fit the Hot Toys Life Size Infinity Gauntlet or Queen Studios Life Size Iron Spider?
No, neither would. You would have to go custom size. Maybe a MAX
When you say custom size, do you mean build my own, or can I select custom sizes on their site? They will fit ¼ scale statues, though?
@@tlprodigies2840 moduspace.so has all the inner and outer dimensions so you can tailor it specific to your needs. You can also create a custom case if none of their sizes will work for you. I would think DF and MAX would fit fine but you should double check your measurements to make sure.

Do you think the DF120 needs the 30kg upgrade for vehicles or even multiple figures? Ironman diecast can be weighty, but the 15kg seems like it would even fit 10 Ironman fine, not sure.

Wow, a vehicle and 20 figures makes me think I likely don't need them at all. They're kind of pricey once you start getting multiple units. I'd probably need around 10-12 for what I'm going to get.
My heaviest vehicle is probably the Jazz Inc. Justice Mobile because of the material. Other than that, it's just HT Delorean and Tumbler.

@@MrMusashiMusashi I should specify, some cases have vehicles and some have 20 figures lol. One case has the tumbler, BATPod and a couple figures.

Would the sixth110 still work for the keaton batman and batmobile from hot toys?
Yes but it’s a somewhat tight fit.

Question. When it comes to moving to a new home, what’s the best way to move these already built moducases? Do you just disassemble everything and put them in boxes? And should I be worried about scratches?
I disconnected the cases from each other when I moved but kept the cases themselves intact. It’s way too much work to completely disassemble them.
