Windows has the most amount of programs available in the world as almost every developer either develops only for Windows or works both on Mac or Windows. Also games work exclusively on windows as Windows is built for gaming. Want ray tracing on Mac forget it. The Apple sheeps only use a shit final cut pro and that's all that matters to those bozos whereas Windows users gets access to stuffs that Mac users can only dream of.

The screen and the keyboard are a joy to use, I primarily use it for coding & writing. Occasionally, I'll play a low demanding game on it. It's a great piece of hardware and stands up to some amount of nitpicking. But there was definitely scope for improvement which I imagine this new version fixed. :)

    Similarly, do you happen to know if there are any differences with regards to durability/ strength/ longevity between the Black Carbon Fibre and White Woven Glass Fibre models?

      I take that back! My Dell xps 13 (9300) motherboard needs to be replaced just months after i received it. A Dell tech was suppose to come within 2-3days but didnt show up at all and then they sent me an email saying the part is delayed 4 weeks!!! That means i will be without my PC for more than a month. I was expecting a high quality product for the money i paid (around $1500). I could of bought a mac for way less than what i paid for the xps. I do not recommended it at all. If you want good customer service and a high quality product pleaseeee dont get Dell!! You will regret like i do. Im struggling without my PC for work and college so currently i'm stressing out a lot. 😭😭

      @@fatimalopezserrano4358 I ended up not getting an xps due to user reviews that described experiences similar to yours. I thought about getting a mac, but apparently the current ones have thermal issues, so I'm waiting to see if the ones with the new chip are going to have better performance.

    I'm really hoping Macbook 14 is gonna be an actual pro machine for its cost. I think past 2 years Apple focused more on OS and iPhone and neglected the OS line. At a certain point Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro 13, was basically the same thing, with the lower end MBPs basically replacing the Air for how thin they were and basically it was underpowered to be even considered "Pro". Really hope they fix this distinguishing term because at this point every college student replaced their Macbook Air, the one with a 1 inch bezels to the base MBP

    Also could you do a comparison of dell xps 13 and asus zephyrus g14?

    • @svxw
      @svxw Před 4 lety +1

      You can't fairly compare the two laptops. Zephyrus G14 is a gaming laptop while the XPS13 is just an ultrabook. They're aimed at different markets and do different things. It really just comes down to what you want to use it for, because realistically while the G14's advertised battery life is great at 10hrs, once you actually start pushing it and gaming on it that will significantly drop down. They're just vastly different systems for different uses. Something more comparable would be like a Razer Blade Stealth with a 1650 or a Razer Blade 15 towards the Zephyrus G14.

      I just got an i5 16/512 MacBook Air. I also have a MacBook Pro 16 well speced.
      The Air runs Logic Pro quote well until you start using heavy synths like U-He Diva, Xfer Serum etc or lots of plugins.
      For light audio work the Air is ok. But for serious projects go for a 10th gen Pro 13 inch or directly to 16 inch

It does ramp up easily if I start streaming in several windows, but to say it runs "all the time" is not true. Also doesn't run on general web browsing - at least with Safari.
