Fretwire took care of me. I just built Fretwire Jaguar Short Scale Bass bought thru Amazon. Fretwire or Amazon sent wrong kit but then promptly sent correct kit from USA to me in Canada. Neck pocket/angle/nut height was perfect. Frets were 98% perfect. I used Duplicolor automotive paint on mine.
Looks like a cool kit. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. I have several sunbursts and a gold top copy, so I would vote for the green as the color for yours. Whatever you chose, I'm sure it will be nice! Good luck!👍😎🎸🎶
thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. I'm leaning towards the green for sure. Will decide soon and likely shoot a short video applying my chosen color.
Really nice videos! Welcome back Im considering to assembly a partcaster with 1pc swamp ash hardtail body and a quartersawn 70s shape maple neck What stores in the us u recomend me to buy those parts? Like custom ones with my prefferences (Im from chile, i dont know the “goods” stores that work with us woods)
For custom parts if budget isn't an option I would go with Warmoth. You can also look at the byoguitar.com custom shop stuff which is great. If you're on a budget then i recommend Allparts or checking on eBay or reverb for good used parts.
Gorgeous guitar I would buy that kit too. I think I'd go for an Olympic white body w that red pick guard. I'm curious to see it built and hear your feedback if it's a solid guitar or if it plays badly. Good video
I’ll be doing a post build video once it’s complete. I recorded myself staining the body but lost the video in transfer from my camera to my computer. So far so good though.
I need to do another video showing the final results. I went with a gold-ish color but not strait Goldtop. Plus I made some changes to the body. I haven’t done a video in a while. I might do one on it soon.
Make it a surf guitar with surf green. I don't have a p90 guitar or pick up. I have avoided them like the bubonic plague so I'm the complete opposite of you in that respect. Your little channel is quite large and subscribership compared to mine.keep going and doing your thing. I'm interested to see how it turns out. I don't like racing green at all because first I don't like that kind of green or any kind of green but especially racing green I find much too dark.
Yeah, i hope to record one soon. I had it almost finished and had a hiccup with the finishing and the video i took. It's been a crazy yr so I just haven't had the time to reshoot the video. I'm well though thank you. I hope all is well with you as well.
Unfortunately, I had an issue with the footage working on this kit. Then covid hit and haven't been able to get back to working on it. It's still sitting in my workshop waiting to be completed. Hoping to get back to it soon though. I got it on Amazon.
Love you're videos keep them coming
Thanks for the kind words
Welcome back man 🙂
Great review of this kit. Looks fun to build those.
Nice kit review. Always been interested in those kits.
I've had 1 of the offset guitars on my mind for a while but putting it off for a bit since I'm soon getting a used Vester which is 1 of my faves.
British racing green is my vote that would look killer. Keep up the great work.
I second this, would look good. Maybe with a racing stripe like some of those have.
Tony Cochran thanks for the input. I’m definitely leaning towards the green.
Dude sparkly purple would look amazing.with a matching headstock

@@VenancioPortalatin oh no that sucks man..I look forward to the finished guitar. I'm thinking of attempting to do a guitar w legos.
I would do 3 P90s thats just me and 7 position swiching.
I’ve considered it for sure. Thinking my next build may be a 3 p-90 Strat.
@@VenancioPortalatin that would be pretty cool then deck the tremelo.
British racing green, sienna sunburst then gold top.
Lol I'm sure im late to the race on this one but what color did you go with?

Just got this kit in the mail, the holes for the pickguard weren't tapped 😵
Easy enough to drill them out yourself. You can also contact the fretwire. I'm sure they'd send you one.
any update? Where did you buy this kit?

Is this guy still Alive?
Yes, still alive. 2020 was a crazy year as you well know so I haven't had the chance to do any videos . Hoping to get back to it soon.
@@VenancioPortalatin great to hear buddy really enjoy you're videos
