How do you disconnect the battery before switching the light
Well, depends on which car you have. Mine is under the hood, and I would just disconnect the terminals. I would suggest if you aren't familiar with this process that you have a mechanic show you or research further on your specific year/make/model
Does the traction bat give any problems

I'm not sure I understand your question. I found mine through an amazon search, and they were specific to Infiniti. If you need VW, you will need to search for them. This isn't a product I sell (or for that matter endorse), but I thought it would be helpful for other people that were considering them to see how easy they were to install. I can't speak at all to any other products.
After two years of use , how is the condition? Still surviving
I sold the car 2 weeks ago but they looked as good as the day I installed them. No complaints.

I have the same light setup my G37. I had to remove the door panel and that light had to come out when I pride the light out the lens cover came off and the whole inside of the light fell out it has adjusters it has lenses, gaskets . In short, when you pry it out do not pry on the lens cover which is very hard not to do if you do prion or uncovered it comes off it's pretty impossible to put back together without a diagram
I have a 2017 infinity Q50 signatures is there a way I can turn on the illuminated entry light under the bottom or does my car come with it.
I believe they work on any of the 15-19 Q50 models. These just replace the lights in the doors. I would refer to the product page wherever you order them from.

How are these holding up? I heard the image fades after awhile.
Been holding up fine. No issues, still as bright as the day they were installed.
Do you really need to cut the battery
I'm not qualified to give that advice. A mechanic would tell you fundamentally that you should. As you can probably see, I did not...I am not a mechanic...
