Seb
Mick Schumacher because of the history of his family in F1. I'll would love to hear about the things his dad Micheal and uncle ralf that you don't hear about in the media etc.
Roscoe, bc. he's a good boy!
Sebastian vettel
Honestly, I would like to meet Seb. He could talk about his rivalries with Lewis and Alonso, about his dominance in redbull, about the disappointments in Ferrari and Aston Martin. He can also talk about Michael and Mick. I think he would be the most interesting of all the drivers in the paddock to talk with.
Seb's done a podcast on the official F1 channel where he mentions his relationship with the Schumacher's.
Seb will never do that as much as I would love it
Alonso bc he saw all of these drivers debut (except michael obviously)
Nice comment, I support you sir with my like so you can win.
1000th like, your answer deserves it
I would like to meet the 2016 World Champion, who beat Lewis Hamilton in the same machinery. Probably one of my favourite drivers.
I can’t wait for Lewis to retire and write his book, then you’ll find out why this guy won in 2016.
@@brotherfromanother1971 I can tell you it wasn't because of different machinery.
2016 champion? You wanna meet Lewis??
@@brotherfromanother1971 just ask Piquet :D
@@szymixxf1191 british fans 🤦♂, max and rosberg own that grandpa
I was born in a small town in Italy called Imola, and my elementary school was next to the track, right before acque minerali. Every year hundreds of thousands used to come here to enjoy the race, but everything was quite normal for us, part of out life. Everything except that red car, everyone stopped while the red car was passing.
One Friday I was watching free practice after school with one friend and the red car crashed in front of us. The pilot must have been very pissed (they usually are after a crash), but as soon as he saw us, Micheal Schumacher smiled and waved back at us before following his car to the pit.
So I would thank him for giving a little kid an unforgettable memory...
and I like to think we made him happier too.
Si ma lui parla anche italiano
🥺
Thats such a good story
Nico you should take part in the 2023 LeMans Virtual! I'm sure they'd love to have you, and then we could have another F1 World Champion on the list (this year both Fernando and Max took part).
It’s honestly surreal that we live in a time where an F1 world champion can teach us how to drive these tracks via a game that’s so physically accurate and photorealistic as to be indistinguishable from reality at a glance.
Honestly, not a single person watching this could have fun in 1920.
Michael Schumacher, the way he has battled the many issues he has faced across his career would be something I can personally improve myself upon, he truly seems like an inspirational figure to me.
True, but he is also a complete douche tho. I'd prefer someone who showed the ability to remain human in a cutthroat competition.
I would choose 2016 champion Nico Rosberg. I find it incredibly impressive how he beat Hamilton in the same machinery and would like to have him give me a track guide on some of my favourite tracks on the Formula 1 calendar.
Russel is beating his ass with the the same machinery and less respect and support of his team.
and also how he developed monster antibodies
@@nasrymatamoros1748 Yeah nah
@@nasrymatamoros1748 like in french gp? 😂🤦♀️
Lol he won because of all those breakdowns on Hamiltons car 😂😂🤦♀️
Michael Schumacher and Ferrari. Michael Schumacher is an icon of the sports, he did a lot of unbelievable things and his mentality was something else, meeting him will be a dream come true and there will be a lot of remarkable things I could Learn.
Ferrari is also the team I would meat if I had to choose a team. This is because it would just be amazing to see Ferrari as they are an icon of the sport, they would have a lot to offer and show their amazing history in the sport. Many great drivers like Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel have raced there and the vibe would be crazy.
Agreed, Ferrari is the probably the most iconic and best team ever. Like seb said "even if your not a ferrari fan, you are a ferrari fan" "everyone is a ferrari fan"
yeah same, i'd wanna meet michael
@@davidfan1162 Yeah i remember that, seb would also be someone nice to meet but michale is just slightly more prioritised
@@m_cookie4373 yeah same with me, its also the fact that seb has already said what he wanted to, but michael is a more private guy.
Agreed
I feel like it would be hilarious to spend a day with Guenther Steiner. He's funny without even realizing it, especially when someone smashes his door. He has also been around for a long time and has worked with people like Mick Schumacher and David Coulthard who have been involved with a lot of history in F1 over the years.
dont foksmash the door

That corner is a really good example of how much more complex racing tracks could be with some expert technical design, the use of Camber could eliminate most curbs and also give us multiple distinct racing lines around each corner (allow the outside line to carry speed).
Of course tracks like Monaco are loved for using public city streets and you'd never be able to modify the course there, but the F1 calendar should have more variety of tracks that are highly cambered vs. flat street tracks.
I really like Zandvoort as a new track for that but its not great for racing itself unfortunately.
@@NardKoning Thats because its too narrow, between 8 to 12 meters wide depending on the section, wheras something like silverstone is ~14m wide pretty much everywhere
@@philipegoulet448 yeah exactly, we'd need signifcantly narrower cars but thats not going to happen.
Couldn't find any comments about your analysis of this track!
Wow... I have been watching simracing channels for a long time but I'm just amazed by the level of details you gave us when analyzing that! thanks Nico!
Tbh meeting Michael, their is so much to talk about... his rivals HakKinen , Raikkonen , seb also... you could also get to know some of his race knowledge and his mentality will inspire you (I think), Sadly bc of that accident i dont think you can currently.
I’d like to meet Michael Schumacher. As a Ferraristi I look back on the early 2000s Ferrari dominance as a golden age. It would be nice to experience the passion and the commitment that Schumacher and the team put into developing the Ferrari team from relatively unsuccessful in the late 1990s to 5 consecutive championships. Michael has very much been an inspiration for many in day-to-day life especially myself, and to experience even a brief conversation with such a hero to many across the world would be truly phenomenal. Additionally after what is coming to a decade since he has been shut off from the public eye, the knowledge will be comforting to know that Michael is doing alright and will soon be able to answer everyone’s questions himself.
2000,2001,2002,2003,2004 and they had a faster car in 1999 but Schumacher was injured at Silverstone
I would like to meet Nico Rosberg. At the time I was a Lewis fan. Now, after view your channel over the past few years, I have learned that you are one of the most intelligent world champions. I have learned so much about Formula one from you. Keep bringing us these great videos.
Juan Manuel Fangio. What a man, what a story, and what a driver.
I would honestly love to meet you, Nico. You were in your prime when I started watching F1 and I have so many great memories watching your races with my father who was also a huge fan of your father. Also, the work you do on and awarness you bring to mental health issues makes me admire you even more!
I do a LOT of GT7 laps here and this has been very educational. Especially the second to last corner. Thank you kindly 👌🏽
I have to say as a sim racer i find your track analysis very helpfull it has help me understand the tuning of the car a lot better because of how you descrive the balance of the car at corner entry, mi, and exit the same goes for high speed corners which have always been my weakest point.
For me it would be Kimi, many people think this is probably just for the laughs, but I genuinely feel like kimi was cruising even when at his best and I would like to hear if this is either true or how he could be so good without really seeming phased by it all, I don’t think I’ve seen someone in any sport that has been so laid back yet so good, and maybe to hear if he could have genuinely won more championships if his engagement had matched some of the more/most engaged drivers ever
word
You, to understand how you gained a competitive edge even when the odds were stacked against you, against a seeming goliath, and understanding the behind the scenes between you and your teammate and how you managed that dynamic with Lewis
I wanna meet Mika, when I was able to browse CZcams back in the day, those West Mclarens with the David and Mika stickers I thought were so dope, and then watching his highlights made me that much more drawn to him as an individual. Hearing his beyond the grid episode he mentioned he doesn’t care about a persons accolades but rather how they treat other and carry themselves, something I’ve grown to pay more attention of the older I get. It’s because of those factors that I’d be psyched to just sit and talk about what made some drivers, engineers, etc. better than others on basis of how they treated those around them.
Hey Nico! Thanks for these incredibly informative videos. I'm really enjoying this content and you're doing a phenomenal job at making it. Keep up the great work mate! (Also the fact that you are helping out Ukraine is quite amazing!) So grateful to have come across your channel :)
I really hope that people that watch this really take in his knowledge. Nico you’d make an amazing teacher, you explain things perfectly
Hi Nico, big fan of your driving over the years and your life now as a youtuber, your videos are really great. If I had to pick one driver to spend the day with it would have to be Senna, from interviews etc he seemed like such a great guy to be around and would of been brilliant to perhaps go, go-karting with him. It would be an absolute dream to see him be impressed if I managed to improve drastically over the session or something, that sort of thing would stay with you forever. Thanks Nico, take care.
When i was for the first the time in austria in 2021 and when i saw the hill before the turn 3 i was surprised how steep is that hill like in tv it looks so small and the speed, sound and everything on the straight after turn 3 is amazing. The adrenalin that flows through your body is an unbeliavable feeling. F1cars in real life are unbeliavable it was the most beautiful memory in my life.
If i could spend one day with a driver i think i would like to spend it with niki lauda because Is incredible how even with all the injuries that the incident caused to him he didn't give up but continued to racing and win championships and also the perseverance and the desire of him to give every sunday the best show ever to the crowd.i think that Niki is one of the best example a person can choose to motivate himself and to motivate other people. but if i could go at a dinner with him even if it cant be possibile i would prefer to talk about his life and how he achived all the goals he fighted for Inside and outside the car.i would like to have this meeting on top of a hill with nobody else so that we can talk quietly.
From the active driver Alonso all the way, is an absolute legend. In general if I had the chance to meet Niki Lauda would be super….
Me Too
One day with Team McLaren would be great. I would love to have fun with Lando and Daniel and talk about technology with all the engineers!
Very good explanation during the slow lap, personally I enjoyed the inside view of the last corner. It pretty much explains Russell's incident in Q3 this year and Kvyat's crash years ago on the exit of this corner.
I'd like to have a dinner with Flavio Briatore. Firstly, I think he's got a good taste in food and secondly, he knows a lot about how to run a team, how's hard is the environment in F1 and how to build ice cold title-winning drivers like Michael and Nando.
Wow, these videos are awesome. Insider scoop on the different lines, etc. Will keep watching these!
Our household is New Zealand-Brazilian so the influence of both countries permeates the chosen lunch date:
-I would have loved to have met Bruce McLaren for lunch, as well being a fellow kiwi, his ingenuity, sheer determination, vision and legacy have been truly inspiring.
-My wife has memories of growing up in Brasil and being woken by her dad to watch Formula 1 on alternate Sundays, religiously… Their household cried with the rest of the country when Ayrton Senna died. There is no one like him: his charismatic energy, wit and passion for Motorsport. It would’ve been legendary to share a conversation over a meal with Senna.
Adrian Newey is also a favourite, would love to pick his genius mechanical engineering brain, he is the common denominator in so much success in motor racing and would probably have some amazing stories about his own achievements, learnings and mistakes, as well as other legends in Formula 1.
Thank you for doing this, we love your channel!
I love your honesty regarding your rivalry with Lewis, on and off the track. It makes all the races I've watched you succeed more eventful and clutch.
I would love to have lunch with Fernando Alonso , he seems like a really down to earth person and with all those life experiences the conversation would be amazing.
I absolutely love your channel 🙌🏻 ! I always learn something new about motor racing .
Most informative F1 content on youtube, kudos.
I would Love to spend the day with both rb drivers to talk about the past and have an amazing time with them and have a Amazing time having a tour around the garage and yea A once in a lifetime opportunity.
Fangio. I would love to hear his opinions on the different teams, perspective on racing in his era, and to hear stories about all of the legends he raced with
I would choose Max to learn from him how to drive so aggressively and safely at the same time, he is a world champion and I think that this year he will also win this title, meeting with him I would wish him good luck in the next races and tell him that he is inspired for many young drivers.
Toto Wolff. I would want to talk with him about what it was like to be so dominant for so long, how it was to manage drivers with competing personalities, and what strategies of leadership did he use. He's an inspiring business man and team leader!
Money...
@@cloud42269 yeah i think some ppl forget f1 is 25% for passion and 75% for money
he took over a team with the most money and has been caught inside trading multiple times... if that's an inspiring business man to you then idk
But den de Totonator would put a target on your back! lol
Hi Nico. Love your videos but I find myself wanting to know more detail on when and how your EYES SCAN different points throughout a corner. I think it would be great to talk about the finer detail of where you're looking at how you shift your eyes focus through a corner at such high speed. I'd also love to hear more detail about HOW you make finer brake and throttle applications. It's so intricate, and the minute detail of what, when and HOW you apply & adjust throttle and brake are the difference between you and everyone else. Would love to hear you talk through these details in your vids. Thanks! AW
Fangio.
After readng his book it makes you aware of where he came from, the racing and improvisation.
Then to adapt that to the world championship, a melding of cultures which produced his many championships. And at that time there was the evolution of the constructors from raw times and specialists.
Gilles Villeneuve. For him there was almost nothing more important than speed. The amount of risks he took in almost everything that had something to do with sport and speed just because he had fun by doing that is just incredible. The imagination to talk with him about these things and to hear stories from him is just amazing for me.
So many greats to chose from. With your knowledge I think having lunch with Nico in Monaco would be amazing!
One of the reasons I love this trck, besides the elevation changes, is the number of difficult corners. Great driving challenge.
thankyou for sharing your knowledge.
If I had to pick someone to meet it would be a german driver called Nico Rosberg Xd, the way he explains Formula 1 in such simple terms can make anyone without any racing background hooked in a conversation or video. I feel like I would learn so much about what goes on and off the track, and who knows maybe one day that meeting can happen?
I would love to have met Jim Clarke, he seemed in my eyes to have been one of the most complete drivers of all time.
Very tough question ! Meeting drivers of the past would be the most appealing option, on the other hand current drivers have their own appeal for that. Considering all factors though, a chat with Kimi face to face would most probably too much to resist!
I would like to meet Nico Hulkenberg, he's my favorite driver, he never scored a podium or win but i still loved seeing him race and he seems like a genuine nice guy, so having lunch with him would be my go to option
If I could spend one day with a driver, it would have to be Michael Schumacher. I idolized him growing up. Since I’m in America, my dad and I would stay up late (1 or 2 AM) to watch the races because they wouldn’t be aired live here. I would’ve loved to hear some of his stories on and off the track. He seemed so humble and family oriented off track and just a monster driver on track. I love that district difference.
I would also love to hang with you Nico. I love how you focus on the mental and emotional aspects of your racing and your life. It’s truly helped remind me about the importance of overcoming self doubt. You’re awesome.
I would like to meet Alain Prost. He is my favorite driver because of how calculated he was and his consistency was amazing. I also want to know what it was like in that era of racing and what did he think when he was rumored to get the Ferrari technical director job.
One day with the Scuderia Ferrari would be an absolute dream. I grew up watching F1 and supporting Ferrari and Schumacher; watching the race weekends with my father are some of my best memories from my childhood. Occasionally I would miss a race due to school and my father would always tape the race for me to watch when I came home. It was one of my earliest memories of bonding with my dad and since then, Ferrari is my favorite team.
Nico we need you more in the commentary box. You give really good insights for us viewers!
I would hang out with Gunther. I would bring a note pad to write down all his one liners and write a book with that. Instant best seller!
Never thought i would be watching a video where a F1 world champion explains how to drive a circuit !!! fantastic :)
Jim Clark, he was such a versatile driver, I really feel like he was racing wizard, was not just great in open wheeler, any race class he was in, he was incredible
Michael Schumacher! Watching him race and now watching his son race has become an almost part of growing up. Memories of watching Michael race as a kid brings a smile to my face because he’s such a big part of me growing up. I wish Michael and Mick and the whole family nothing but the best!
Please make these more, this content is top class
Niki Lauda. He is my favourite driver of all time, and he was also a smart businessman so i would like to learn all his tips and tricks to use in my own life.
Great vid Nico never knew settings were that important
I would like to meet Kimi Raikkonen. He raced Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen, and then he raced Vettel in his prime, he raced Lewis Hamilton, and saw Verstappen becoming champion. Kimi has experience and also a wdc.
Michael without a doubt started watching back in 2002 and havent missed a single race so far also never had the chance to visit a race .
Should have been on one last year if not for a family emergency . Also ive basicly watched every race that you had in F1
thanks nico, ill try the turn 4 tips because that highspeed corner is my weakness on this track. i keep that in mind.
I would have loved to chat with Nikki Lauda. The guy was a proper motorhead. I would love to have a chat not only about racing but also about entrepreneuring!! The man was big on and off the track. True pioneer!
R.I.P. Legend
I would probably choose to meet Alain Prost. He's one of my all-time favourites and he also has a lot of insight into the strategy, technical and polictical happenings that we have not seen. Plus, he's a nice guy and still around to do it.
I have watched everysingle of these videos and it still amazes me how much thought there is in every single action... this is not driving... its hardcore science
I'd meet Ayrton and Ron Dennis, 1990/1991. What a period in F1 history.
Murray Walker. He could tell me everything about f1 in that iconic voice. What a legend
Thank you nico Rosberg im trying to drive in red bull ring more now this is a great help
I’d like to spend a day with Ross brawn. Who else has started a team for one season and win the drivers and constructors championship? He has so much knowledge you could never get bored of asking him questions. I think he is a genius of motorsport. Good luck to all.
I would love to have a chat with Niki Lauda. He was so intelligent and determined, both off the track and on it. He never gave up, and always found a way to succeed in doing what he wanted to do. He also was a man to speak his mind and stand his ground, even when it made him very unpopular. He didn't care what anyone thought of him. He did what he thought was best at all times in his life. He had a great impact on the sport even long after his own retirement. I find him to be one of the most inspirational and influential sportsmen of all time. (Plus he won the championship the year I was born, but that's just a bonus.)
I would have loved to spend a dinner and evening with Sir Sterling Moss. He was one of my childhood heroes and perhaps the greatest driver to never win the Grand Prix championship. He would have some fabulous stories about all the teams and second rate cars that he drove in his era of racing.
I'd pick Kimi Räikkönen, here's why:
1. He's easily the least understood modern (Post 2000 era) F1 driver with the biggest bandwidth of operational understanding of F1.
2. He is often mispresented by the media and I feel like it's difficult to actually get through to him, originally.
3. An Unfiltered conversation with him will allow me to understand his actual mentality.
4. He's been a world champion, fighting for championships, a mid field driver and had very bad seasons - Can give great perspectives about the harsh turbulent world of F1
5. Finally his experiences from driving for Sauber, McLaren, Ferrari, Lotus, and Alfa Romeo around the world at so many tracks from 2001 to 2021 will be mind blowing
6. BONUS: Relive some Kimi moments/memes while having lunch and maybe even eat on his yacht in Monaco 😉
Thanks for the tips,Nico. Will apply them on Gran Turismo.
I would have loved to meet Niki Lauda before he sadly left us. Not only because my dad is Austrian, but because of his Magic in and off the track. As a small child I always watched videos about him on CZcams and when the movie "Rush" came out, I wanted nothing more than to watch it. He was a true legend. Prime F1 cars (in my opinion). he was one of the first to work on the car with the engineers within the team, therefore earning his nickname "computer". True GOAT
THANK U VERY MUCH FOR THE INFORMATIVE INFORMATION !!!!!!!!
ROS team radio...: "Mate, that lap was deleted. Track limits at turn 9..." Like you, I would love to have lunch with Ayrton. He was my hero, and I was lucky enough to watch him live in action at every Adelaide GP. I remember when Prost and others entered the lane after the formation lap, saying it was too wet to race, and Ayrton formed up on the grid, saying "let's go!"
I would like to meet Schumi. He was such an inspiration to watch Formula 1 in the 90's when I was in my teens. Another inspirational F1 driver which I have had the honor to have a selfie with is You Nico. Imagine it's just one selfie however that gives me so much inspiration to watch Your videos on CZcams now for all these years since You've had the channel! Have a good day !!
Id love to talk to seb, seems like a lovely guy and could talk about loads of stuff like his great teammates his rivalries and of course the years he spent at the top
Honestly I wanna meet you. I didn’t get into F1 until like 2013 and I had to find a guy. My parents were Mark Webber fans, but I took a liking to you. You always had something great about you that made me cheer you on. When you won the championship in 2016, I broke down in tears of Joy, finally it had happened! I want to hear all your stories! We miss you Nico!
For me, Ross brawn of Adrian Newey, those two guys have accomplished so much
Adrian Newey all day, everyday!!! To get to spend some time with the greatest mind the sport has ever seen. Get talking all things aero, and his path into F1 as well would motivate my own path into the sport. Would love to discuss the new RB17 hypercar that he’s designed and get an insight into the entire process around that would be so enlightening.
Enzo Ferrari: him and what he created are the reasons I have this huge passion for cars since I can remember and why I'm studying to become an engineer. He must have been such an interesting person, I would ask him so many questions.
It's hard to choose as there are so many drivers I'd like to meet for so many different reasons. But I guessed I'd love to spend a day with James Hunt. He was a magnificent racer and a gregarious personality. It would be a wild day.
Danny all day man, imagine the laughter, im a really big fan of him, since 2019
I’d love to meet with Seb Vettel. He’s one of a kind, an all-rounder: a great racing driver, technically sound, and the best part - a fantastic human. I feel that there’s a lot to learn about F1, sustainability, and about doing our part as a good human being from Seb.
I gotta meet Cyril man. Mans hilarious, especially in french 😂. Would be also nice to talk about how he manages work family life while being in charge of the team. I feel like theres lots to learn from those guys when it comes to time/stress management.
Niki Lauda - skill, fortitude, depth of personality, technical and safety acumen and that amazing determination to just never stop, never give up. One day wouldn't be anywhere near enough to absorb a fraction of insight into this great man's life, but I'd take it.
I would like to spend a day with the Ferrari strategist so I could actually see his thought process and take him back to kindergarten
Ayrton for me as well. Just a big fan of him. My favourite and the GOAT.
I'd love to meet Niki lauda, because of his outlook towards this sport and how me managed to defy death time and time again by looking at it straight in the eye, what a badass!! And also because he's a big ambassador for safety in the sport.
I would love to talk to Ross Brawn I feel like his insight with the new ground effect would be amazing and I’d love to hear about his career in the sport from his works at Williams all the way to his success with Brawn GP
I would like to meet Frank Williams. He has seen the highest of highes and lowest of lows of running a team. And his team is not a factory team, which makes it that much more impressive. I would like to hear his opinion on how the sport has evolved and how running a private team is different now than it was 40 years ago.
Senna because I have seen his dedicattion n that graphic with him charting out the gear shift around suzuka is just unbelievable......would love to discuss his rivalry and his approach and would discuss things about the modern era of cars and how things have been better
I would say the always underrated Damon hill. Started career late. Won drivers championship knowing Williams was giving him the boot regardless. Went to a bad team and made Jordan look impressive. Went head to head with Michael. Prost. Senna. Nigel. Etc
This track is so fun in the sim, one of my favourite tracks ontop of Spa.
I’d love to meet Nico Rosberg. Because he quit F1 after becoming world champion he gives the impression of making calculated life decisions altogether and aside from his racing experience I believe he has much more to teach.
I’d love to meet Sir Jackie Stewart. My grandma is Scottish and used to live near silverstone. When I was a kid, she would tell me stories about the sounds of the track, about how the cars from the sixties looked better, and about a Scottish driver named Jackie Stewart. It would be awesome to talk to a man who has always been a legend to my family :)
James Hunt, he would be the most fun 🎉🎉 🥳🍾 great vids nico, like to watch just before the race 🏁
Ron Dennis. I would love to talk about how he revived McLaren and the different champions he made and managed during his time as the team boss. I would also like to talk about the internal story on how he was unceremoniously shunted out of a team he so painstakingly created
I would really like to meet you. You have been a model for me since a long time ago. I think i would learn a lot of things from your stories, your rivalry with Lewis and your whole f1 career. Personally i really appreciate you and i wish you all the best! ❤
