Smoke trails in After Effects (without plugins)

Hi guys. I found a very easy way to create smoke or liquid animation without any plugins. Just a cc mr. Mercury. I underestimated it before and never thought to use this effect in this way. Today I'll show you the true power of Mr. Mercury.

super! thank you so much. I was searching for a tutorial for aircraft chemical trails. Now I have to get how to do it more realistic. I guess it has to be a motion blur and also I have to make the tail of trail more transparent

can anyone explain to me why when i set auto orientation, at the start of the path of my rocket, my rocket is upside down ? for like 1 second, i cant point to the normal way before the animation begin, it mess everything if like me you make the rocket wait inside the visible part of the screen.
i tried to make a new project its still the same, right now my only solution is to make 2 rocket, and to change the opacity of the one that move to 0 until it has to move, is there no other way ?
also the weird thing is that rotation doesnt move at all when this happen, it stay the same value

When I alpha matte smoke layer 2 to 3, and try to move it up to create the shading in the smoke, it doesnt stay the form of the smoke.. Instead it conforms to the bottom of the bounding box so it's just an awkward straight line through the smoke.. Any idea why?
