    Hey, cool Tutorial!
    Anyway, I´m having issues with keeping up at 8:11, because changing the value of the "Roughen Edges" effect does somehow not apply to my Liquid animation. However, it does change everything else in my composition, which are some .jpg pictures and my background; a solid-color layer. Do you have any idea how I could change that?

    • @sreesanthsasidharan3841
      @sreesanthsasidharan3841 Před 5 lety +3

      its because effects applied on adjustment layers affects every layer beneath it. It is easy to fix. select all layers and the adjustment layer that make up the liquid stroke and precompose them. that way all the applied effects will happen inside a separate precomp and won't affect the background layers.

      I agree, its a great tutorial but i wouldn't assume that everyone watched your previous videos. Either add a link clickable on that segment redirecting them to add a caption. Like Tanuki i had to search for the Segment. Its just a nice quality of life for your viewers.. Its just an added step that could of been avoided. Like some other peoples tutorials they use shortcut keys leaving those who want to learn confused on how the teacher got to a certain point. but cheers and thanks for this

      LouisC1408 the idea is to duplicate the main shape layer and offsetting it with some changes to give it variation

    It was a helpful tutorial but it seemed as if he was improvising throughout it, the amount of times I had to go back to change values was a joke tbh. It was supposed to take 20 mins to follow it and it ended up taking me much longer because of how many times this guy went back to change shit.

    Why don't you start at the beginning, like setting up the UI ? in other words mine doesn't like like your ? half the stuff is grayed out ! I'm out of here !
    Where did you make the 'S' path ??

    • @NobleKreative
      @NobleKreative  Před 2 lety

      It is because different version of AE . Make sure to follow the steps and it would work with any Version. You can create your path in AE or create complicated oath easily in illustrator and then trace it in AE

      Thx because at least... or first you're a gentleman to answer... and very quickly!!!+ Just remember a simple thing; most of your "friends" on the net aren't from different countries (my case... I'm french) so just try to be the nice teacher talking for everybody.
      What does it mean?... just don't go to fast from an action to an other with the mouse... and your speech...
      Also don't spend time doing a lot of different settings so fast, without making you hesitate in your choices...
      In this case, it would have been necessary to do preliminary tests with very safe settings working perfectly.

      I think it's great he took the time to demonstrate and share his prowess even though he didn't need to. Regardless of whether he taught well or not, it's intepretable
