Wasn't mean't to be a dig at anyone, was purely me talking about myself. When I compare my 5.5k irating to others who have 11k, it feels pretty average if you see what I mean, haha.

Oh no, the front fell off... That's not very typical, I'd like to make that point.
Dude (@0:14), you would sooo suit long flowing blond locks. It's something motor racing has been missing for years (James Hunt). Also, a dashing moustache (Graham Hill) and boss mutton chops (Emmerson Fittipaldi, Mario Andretti). That's a lot of hair. Maybe cost a few tenths!
I'm really not sure if I could pull that off mate, think I'll stick to the skinfade back and sides with a trim on top.
i feel like irating is more of a measurement for free time than skill nowadays
Also very dependent on the series you drive, the more populated, like GT3s and IMSA get you you higher iRating than most single-seaters
Definitely need a lot of time to grind it, no doubt
Im guessing the GTP cars are heavier and can’t grip up as much in the rain
heavier and more power but cant put that power to the ground as well in the wet

Starting my iracing journey at 1.1k rating. Yeah this is gonna be rough.
I loved watching Jamese's streams afterwards because I don't have much time to watch it live but I can't affort to buy substriction. I know that he has to make money but I am very disapointed and I lost my favorite activity while having a free time.😔

Hi James, I’ve got a question.
I’ve noticed that the brake pressure doesn’t go above 80%, so I wondered why and how?
I'm running an 80% brake cap on iRacing at the minute in most cars. For me it's slightly quicker and easier to be consistent.
what is the best way to quickly up your safety rating?
Just out of curiosity, how come you guys are doing LMP2 instead of LMDh/hypercar/GTP (whichever one you want to call it)?
Probably so they don’t have to worry about bop or the car manufacturer situation, considering he’s on the Mercedes team.
The main reason is that LMP2 is brand nuetral, the car isn't a rival manufacturer of Mercedes. The hypercars are all a conflict in this sense, hence why we've been in LMP2.
@@Jaaames I guess that makes sense. And I guess the LMP competition is more interesting than being in the Merc GT3 but being in the slowest category?

This is from last week’s race; that’s why it seems like it’s been raining for a lot of videos. Theres been rain 2/5 weeks. There’s no more rain on the schedule for the rest of the season
