      eBay, I search “vintage tie clip” or similar. They end up being cheaper than the plain jane stuff at regular stores.

    Hi Dean I'm taking GD&T class , firstly I've been following your channel for a long time. I have one question for you
    That my instructor put I have srs doubt that he put the wrong formula for Position tolerance
    True position in X was 20 & in Y it was 30.
    True readings were 20.006 & 30.0025
    Allowable tolerance was 0.03 with datum A&B
    Dia of hole is 10+/- 0.050 but nothing was given about the true measurements of hole.
    He used following formula to calculate the position tolerance
    2 -√ (Xact -X)^2+(Yact -Y)
    Instead of
    2 *√ (Xact -X)^2+(Yact -Y)
    His answer was 1.9935 according to formula and thereby it was out tolerance limit
    And mine was 0.013 by second formula within tolerance limit
    When I asked him he said you are taking this formula from RFS and I'm using MMC. Please clarify what should be the tolerance will help me a lot. I really wanna know whether I have invested in right instructor.
