Ferrari 512 BBi Dyno Run

This example is typical of a stock 512BBi engine rebuild with the only deviation being slightly higher compression (10:1) forged pistons. It got 336.29 HP @ 6300 rpm and 339.82 TQ @ 4400rpm.
The CIS version of the Boxer engine has less camshaft duration and lift than the carbureted model. This reduces both horsepower and torque.
That being said, the 5.0 liter BB engine is still plenty powerful and smooth.
This 512 BBi engine will provide many years of enjoyment for it's owner.

really not that powerful...i mean its a 50 k engine, only puts out 330 hp..and thats without full exhaust etc. in car what is it, maybe 280hp?
