Thanks to you I got my 7I95 communicate to computer. Can you please show how/where to config 7I95 step/dir pins and other pins what you set in pncconf under 7i76e board.
Sorry, just saw this. You can't technically set everything up in pncconf because of the differences in naming conventions on the pins. Once you get a basic setup, you have to map your IO through the Hal files directly and can test the logic with hal configuration/hal show There's also the 7i95 configurator tool that Big John T designed, but I've never had much luck getting it to work ☹️ github.com/jethornton/mesact
Just found this video. Updated the ini file but it still wont load. I can ping the 7i95 through the terminal but it says connection refused when I try to load the configuration.

Thank you. Interesting and helpful video. Which debian version and desktop are you using?

What does the debug information say when trying to load LinuxCNC? It should give a reason towards the bottom

Were you able to see my reply? I've been having issues with comments not posting.

Hello friend!
Is there any version of Linux CNC that has the 7i95 board to choose from in pncconf?
I haven't tried 2.10 yet, but maybe. It's easy to select it after using PNCconf to set the basic io if you use the ini board name option
Did you have any unusual problems using this method in the video?
@@brunofeitosa6635 nope. Once it comes up in hal show, you can pretty much find anything you need
