good info, thanks! i have question i have cummins isx 15 and the line that goes from the bottom of this crankcase pressure filter is that going to the oil pan if i understand ? on my truck is broken and leaking right on the top of the fuel pump and for a long time i thoguht the high pressure fuel pump is leaking and as it goes that like to the pan there is oil everywhere

If you're blowing oil out that filter you have a very bad blow-by problem your rings are probably shot I put that filter on and have no problems

Hello, as your question asks yes, the oil filter goes straight into the oil pan.

I used the maintenance free one and I still got crankcase pressure check engine lights
If you got not to much smog coming from you oil pan it's my be sensor
