Pulsar F250 is a much better choice. The engine performance is good and as you said in this video about the engine being stressed at high speed, it’s not the case. I’ve ridden the F250 on the highway at around 125-130 kmph for a relatively long period of time and not for once I felt that the engine is getting stressed or hotter. The V-strom engine is rather vibey and much less refined. The clutch on the Pulsar is lighter due to slip and assist functionality. The gearbox is smooth on Pulsar. 5 speed gearbox doesn’t matter on the Pulsar.

now this was a very good comparison. at a glance it may not look so but for touring one can always take the f250 as the vstrome won't be able to do what himalayan can so why to consider if? although if some one is into a sports tourer then the suzuki gixxer sf 250 can be a better choice, if the budget allows.
Very nice review👌 I will buy this bike if they increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS and a stronger light.
Now with due respect, I wanted to know more on the adv250, but the F250 counts as a tourer? I don't know, but any two wheeler with an engine can be a tourer if you're brave enough. But these two aren't even in the same category
Yes, absolutely.....any bike can be taken for a long tour.....I have taken my age old but very reliable YAMAHA RX100 to long tours without any problem..
These bikes can't be compared with each other. One is focused more on the touring and doing little bit of off roading or say rough roading and the later one is more focused on daily basis commuting or say city riding. So this compare doesn't make sense that much..
Pulsar evergreen bike. This bike is for everyone low maintenance cost smooth engine. And worth buying with good mileage. And front and rear suspension are too smooth
I like semi digital instrument set up if it looks good. I don't know why people make the digital instrument speed meter set up a big thing when it provides a big problem on a sunny day where maximum of the meter could not be seen properly when the sun is over the head.
Sorry to say…when you say “F250 is getting analog tach in era when even 125 cc bike gets digital one” …it looks like you did not get the point of having an analog tachometer. That needle is the one what make you feel connected with engine, and makes you really feel that you are riding something… being owner of a bike with an analog tachometer, I really missed that while riding this suzuki…will you say the same while reviewing Kawasaki H2R? no right?
I happened to come across a review of rtr200, whose handle bar had been raised and retrofitted with that of dominar.... Suddenly felt I over paid for vstrom.....the difference was around 1.2lac 😒... But then that's the story of adjustments.... , rtr200, cb200x,all could be brought into the picture.. If refinement is the priority while on a budget
maybe i got my hands on a better built f250 since it only gets little vibrations on foot at 100kmph and the engine feels stressed at above 134kmph only.
Two major R's: Refinement and Reliability that Bajaj cannot even come remotely close to Japanese machines even in next hundred years - Says who owned both brands. Comparison over, go home.
Heard that these new pulsar 250 and 160 twins have a better build quality and engine refinement is definitely at par. But true that it's too early to judge the reliability factor.
I don't think digital meters make a difference, when it comes to after sales services pulsar will be the winner. Buying is not a big deal, Suzuki parts availability is a bigger deal than buying it....
I don't know why all pulsar series are equipped with cheap parts and after few years there will be rattling and noices will be there. And in few years it will demand you to get a new motorcycle. But in terms of Suzuki the bike's character and smoothness will ne constant even after 10 years.

I see lots of comments praising pulsar,, and some vstorm. NO! Its not so. The engine is tuned, big tyres, changed argonomics and hieght.. And trust me, , these things matters. * for people saying its not an offroader,,, to them I would say,, YES, you wont be able to jump it off the cliff as they ahow on TVs,,, but for off road terrain, it gets the job done smooth as fuck. * About heating,,, you guys have to trust me on this,,,,, I rode the bike in range 95 - 105 kmph 6 hrs straight (stopped for 5 min for refuling once),, and the bike was never over heated. * the most critical reason to go for vstorm is irs engine RELIABILITY. When you are on empty highway or in between jungle, the only thing matters is your engine should keep going. Gixxer this 250 cc has been tested and outperformed in market from decades. * Last but not the least,, no matter whichever bike you purchase, our nervous system is built to adapt to new posture, or environment. This is how we are built. Every bike is unique in its own way. Bajaj is very good as far as cost effectiveness is concerned, but you cant cruise on 90kmph all day long,, and this MATTERS. All bike are unique with beautifully designed engines in this competative market, its only about what your needs are, you ought swlect accordingly.
Bajaj should make this engine a 4 valve one and make a big adv bike like Suzuki vstorm sx with an affordable price with a bigger tank of a minimum 18ltr capacity, taller windshield. I own a Pulsar F250 ABS for 2 months. It's great bike
F250 more value for money bike than V storm..and main thing is that no one ask you to tell us about your opinion..... because you know that no one do that as you wish😂😂
Both are different bikes, Should have compared Suzuki with Ktm adv 250
Surprised that no single mention of Dominar 250!As price sagment is same to Suzuki v-cross
now this was a very good comparison. at a glance it may not look so but for touring one can always take the f250 as the vstrome won't be able to do what himalayan can so why to consider if? although if some one is into a sports tourer then the suzuki gixxer sf 250 can be a better choice, if the budget allows.
The curious case of favouritism
Very nice review👌
I will buy this bike if they increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS and a stronger light.
Any Idea when will Bajaj relaunch the Pulsar F250 E20 OBD2 model?.
One of the Best bike all around.
Why compare off roader with city sports bike, better to compare sukuki v storm with dominar 250
My budget is around Rs 2 lakhs, which bike do u recommend? Give me 3 options.
Your tone and speaking style soooo matches with Shumi. First impression.
1st Suzuki 2nd Bajaj❤😮😊
Why not Gixxer sf or s if not the v-strom for 250 class if you want hat engine performance and durability.
Very very informative. Good job bikewale
Sorry to say…when you say “F250 is getting analog tach in era when even 125 cc bike gets digital one” …it looks like you did not get the point of having an analog tachometer. That needle is the one what make you feel connected with engine, and makes you really feel that you are riding something… being owner of a bike with an analog tachometer, I really missed that while riding this suzuki…will you say the same while reviewing Kawasaki H2R? no right?
The video i have been waiting for a long time.
Also it very soft suspension and engine is weak and not at all punchy which is key for an adventure tourer.
maybe i got my hands on a better built f250 since it only gets little vibrations on foot at 100kmph and the engine feels stressed at above 134kmph only.
Good review. What about the maintenance cost and service cost. Better motorcycle should be better on pocket...isn't it.
Just inform me one thing why is pulsar f250 not available anywhere in West Bengal?
Two major R's: Refinement and Reliability that Bajaj cannot even come remotely close to Japanese machines even in next hundred years - Says who owned both brands. Comparison over, go home.
Haha ok 🤣
Heard that these new pulsar 250 and 160 twins have a better build quality and engine refinement is definitely at par. But true that it's too early to judge the reliability factor.
Owned which bikes of both brands is another factor. If your comparison is between a bajaj boxer and a Suzuki shaolin then it's fair play.
Take fz25 in this comparison & it can give both this two a run for their money..
F250 is beast with its price...❤
I don't think digital meters make a difference, when it comes to after sales services pulsar will be the winner. Buying is not a big deal, Suzuki parts availability is a bigger deal than buying it....
Potential buyers for both motorcycles are different...
You compare the wrong bike it must be gixxer 250 sf vs pulsar
Right 👍
No 6th gear is and will always a deal breaker
how good are your riding shoes. give a short review
But the analogue metre is much good looking than the digital....and they are long lasting 😅 I prefer analogue than the digital
Bro, some showroom people are saying vstorm 2023 version will be coming shortly.
Do agree with it? If yes when and what are updates..
Yes I've been told the same and I'm waiting for that only,
@@dr.shyameshjangid6137 do u clearly when would it be available
TBH analog tachometer gives a classy look. All digital 👎
First of all… vstrom sx is not off road bike.. not at all..😂😂😂
Pullser f250 best bike look bahut badiya ha
Apna Pulsar looks awesome❤
Don't forget about Suzuki s after sales service
It's shit
Good advertisement of V-storm
This bike is best in every thing but the real problem is Suzuki service
Sounds like shumi
I don't know why all pulsar series are equipped with cheap parts and after few years there will be rattling and noices will be there. And in few years it will demand you to get a new motorcycle. But in terms of Suzuki the bike's character and smoothness will ne constant even after 10 years.
Lol stop being delusional, blind Suzuki fanboy 😂
What 10 year old suzuki have you seen on indian roads, hayate or hayabusa😂😂😂
@@axel3895 I have my 2011 GS150R which has clocked more than 1 lakh km and the bike still rocks. Hasen't even opened the engine head. That's the reliability of suzuki
Reliability!!!!!!
Bajaj doesn't even comes near to suzuki when reliability is concerned.
With Enkei alloy wheels , DID chain sprocket vstrom gets the best OEM parts that is why it is expensive.
Proud to be indian
Pulsar resembles to the discover
I guess, I can have a pulsar 250 and a ps5 for the price. Majaa ni life.....
F250 production is stopped as per bajaj
Bluetooth connectivity is gimmick both are great machines
125cc me bhi v strom jaisi uchi seat hight vali bike aani chahiye
I like v Strom ❤
This guys sounds like one from powerdrift
I go for pulsee😊😊😊😊
Too muted video sound and voiceovers.
But F250 discontinued
A bike band ho gayi hai na f250 pulsar
dono bikes ka purpose alag ha9
Bajaj will show it's true face after 5 years. 😂😂😂
Blind Suzuki fanboy spotted 😂
@@abhishekn9871 I am not choosing Suzuki over bajaj blindly. That's based on my experience. I have 2011 Suzuki GS 150R which has clocked more than 1 lakh km till now still the bike is running as butter smooth in a complete stock engine. Even the engine's head hasn't been opened yet. We have other 2 bikes in the family Apache RTR 180 and Pulsar 150. The irony is Even Apache is better in terms of reliability than the pulsar. So in my life i have given a chance to Bajaj but that brand fails to impress me. If i am supposed to choose a bike from domestic bike makers then i would choose TVS anyday. Bajaj is one of the cheap brands selling bikes at cheap cost but in terms of reliability they are the worst.
@@subramanip8434 I've seen many of my friends having Bajaj bikes for more than 15 years still running smoothly... Japanese or Indian brands, it's boils down to how owners maintain it...
I see lots of comments praising pulsar,, and some vstorm. Noaccordingly no issues,, subjectivity matters.
* I feel highly eligible to comment on vstorm persormance cuz recently rode the bike from Bangalore to Ranchi that clocks 2200 kms in the span on 3 days straight.
* for those saying vstorm is gixxer with different clothers onn.. NO!
Vstorm is a head turner,,,, in highwaya and in city as well. Pulsar is an emotion, its unique in its own way ❤.
It upsetting that Bajaj do not have an adv bike in its portfolio.
KTM,Suzuki,Hero have one adv respectively
But,Bajaj never listen.....
Torquey engines don't need to be 4v. 4v is useful only when you have a high rpm engine and you need to make more at the rpm limits of the engine
@@sazidahmed1271 compared to Gixxer, vstorm(both have same engine)Bajaj 250's produce less torque.....
4V increases bikes performances across the rev band.....if they make an adv as I wish, better make this engine a 4v.....for better performance with little compromise on mileage......
@@krishhvlogs5 adding 4V will increase the production costs & eventually the bike also will become costlier... Fyi, the P220 with 2V sells in better numbers than NS200 which has 4V... Even the FZ25 has 2V... Not every motorcycle needs to have 4V...
@@abhishekn9871 We'll,making it a 4V is better option to increase the performance without making changes to bore & stroke size,i.e. changing engine capacity.....which would compel to change many other key aspects which will make the bike entirely different one.....
People choosing p220 has different requirement from people choosing NS
Even though NS & RS have same engine RS sells less than NS.....
@@krishhvlogs5 2V gives more character to motorcycle than 4V... U can see torquey motorcycles have only 2V like 220F, F250, FZ25... There's no need for F250 to get 4V... The power & torque figures are more than adequate...
