Is battlesage a good option for dragons? Currently stuck on dragons 17. My team is apoth, coldheart, royal guard, stag knight/ tayrel depending on affinity, and mountain king. I know she isn't a rare but just curious

it's great that these are your top ten. The best thing I like is when you can teached us which artifact to put on them. like Bellower with stun artifacts. That would be great help.
I opened a ancient shard and got a apothecary. I needed a support like him and wanted him a lot.

I'm a fan of the new tournament criteria, I think it brings a lot in the way of theory crafting and puts more people closer to even on the playing scale instead of whales in the group just being able to free farm 20 with their same team of legos
Appreciate your more positive attitude towards the new tournament challenge. I agree it's something of a cash-grab by Plarium ... but it also gives us a new type of challenge in the game. Rather than farming (which includes challenges and events) with the exact same team, over and over, for months on end. With the amount of summoning required in the game I don't even understand how people don't have all of the rares and a lot of the epics.

I got two coldhearts, apot, reliq tender and soulbound bowyer (with savage set to 100% ignore DEF) and they do the job splendidly :)
Is there a reason nobody mentions Valerie ? I only have her up to 50 but she is quite usefull with her shield and her decrease debuff / debuff extender .
Honest question, Why do I not hear much about Elhain? She seems really great, is it specifically because Kael has the poison which makes him so much more valuable?
How about spirithost? Cleanse, block debuff and boost attack. Solid for me.

She is good, but many don't use her because almost everybody gets kael as a starting champ, still running her with him will double the dmg.

Hated the idea of all rares tourney, was going to skip it, but I happen to have a team that can do D20 so I can collect tourney awards with the divers event rewards. Apoth, Warmaiden, Painkeeper, Reliquary, and Frozen Banshee clear in about 5 minutes at 100% success rate so far. My FB is built for CB, so she tanks with her very high defense build and gets revived when she dies.
This is a more competitive tournament for the early mid game player. I’m running two Level 50 Kaels, Reliquary tender, Ilhain level 60, and Steel Bowyer. I don’t have that game changer on my team yet, so this tournament works for me.
What about Grappler? He has a weaken debuff, he has two 2.5% poisons on is A2 and an aoe shield + reflect damage on his A3
What are your thoughts on Vizier Ovelis? I pulled him recently and his skills look really good. Not sure if I should take him all the way up though. I've been burned like that before, wanted another opinion

I use till the Dragon lvl 20 a team of Apothecary Leader , Kael , Belloweer ( with Stun ,Thank you Ash for your advise), Coldheart and Reliquary Tender and it is great . The run is about 5' but for me it's ok.
I’d have thought the dream team would be apothecary, coldheart, bellower in stun set, reliquary tender and war maiden.
I like it. I think we should have events that are uncommons only even. Or have a legendary lead with uncommon footsoldiers, etc...
Doing Athel, Kael, Frozen Banshee, Apothecary, and Hexweaver. I have Bellower too, but somehow forgot he's a Rare. This team is just fine on Dragon 13 though. All level 60 6*.
Removing my only epic champion i lvl up destroys my team composition for dragon liar.
No other champion can replace jingle hunter.
I rather choose not to compete in ongoing tournament.
Maybe this is geared more towards the ftp players who don't have a lot of massive champions...like me lol. I just wish we had more than 30 multibattles a day
Honestly, I had a Dragon team of Kael, Apo, Reliquary Tender, Elhain, and Tayrel before this tournament started... I figure swapping in a defense down like Bellower or Warmaiden would work in a pinch...

I put a toxic set on Frozen Banshee along with an immortal set. I went from causing around 200K damage to the clan boss to over 1 million and the last battle I counted 13 poison debuffs on the boss at once. I have Jizoh with her. I throw his shield on her and that gives her another opportunity to throw a poison. She is an absolute beast right now.

My rare drag team atm is seducer, coldheart, grinner, kael and apothecary, all lvl 50 besides lvl 60 coldheart, clears drag 13 in about 1:20 as it is

Exactly, don't take away what we already had. Using only rares for extra loot would have been welcome for sure. I'm sure plarium is trying their hardest to make us more and more disappointed with them.

bellower and coldheart may as well be legendaries. they have been so hard for me to get
idk i have had both of them since very early before i ever spent a dollar too. i wish i didnt sacrifice the duplicate coldheart i got though. just grind those missions and events i guess.

Rule of thumb, you should NEVER use rares or higher for food!!! But.... The only time u probably can do that is if you own a copy already, the reason why it's so important to keep at least one of each copy is because you can fuse them into a legendary later on

I actually like this tourney style, its more about having well built characthers than a fat wallet. Annyone can build a god all rare team without spending massive amounts
I actually don't mind this tourney. I have the rares to get the job done at the highest level i can do. Auto click go to sleep or work and see what progress I've made. Besides I always need stuff from the Dragon so I'm good. Kael, Ethel, Coldheart, Apothecary maxed Frozen Banshee at 50.
I think it should have been more like faction wars with 2,3,5. Like any team you get normal points 2 rates on team you get 4 extra points 3 rates you get 6 extra points and all rare team you get 10 extra points. Something like that
Wish I had Apothecary ... he will not drop! Others, no one besides Ash has 6* Heiress, no one. Need to know ahead of challenge what rare to level, can’t really do it after it starts. So, I suppose a guide on just the top rares?

I'm perfectly fine with this tourny, for a few reasons. 1. gives me something to do instead of farming food, 2. With the constraints in place it somewhat levels the playing field, as I am not a whale or uber end game player I might actually get some of the top 10 awards on this where normally it's whale and lvl 20 speed teams only that win everytime. And if people don't want to compete I understand, for me, i rarely competed because i had no shot, now i do so i'm enjoying it.
Rares only spider and fire knight is going to be a nightmare

I am sure I tuned some of these to food.
Considering I only have about 5 epics and they aren't really anything special, this format doesn't bother me. Even out of this list of rares, the only ones I have are the two that are farm able and Frozen Banshee which I opened yesterday.
Nine rounds in the stage 15. Guess what... 2 potions, 7 mystery shards and 4 four stars rare artifacts... 126 energy for 32 points, only 3718 points left. Come on Plarium... is that what you have? are you serious??
You said it this is a way to get us to spend more money to level and book more people. So far only 18 people have gotten any points in my group and the number 1 whale already has 3841 points with the next at 925. I am able to do stage 16 in just under 3 minutes so I am not wasting my time on this.
Spirithost is pretty decent in the right team

I've been playing for a month and don't have even a SINGLE legendary, despite the double legendary event. If there will be a tournament requiring full legendary team, I'll fucking rage quit!!@

Unfortunately Ash we just don't have the resources to level up the good cards along with rares that really don't need to be leveled up. This tournament sucks and you know it.

Oh, well, I hadn't really formed an opinion on the new tournaments thing as I thought I wouldn't have to do it if I didn't wanna... but they're actually REPLACING the other tournaments? that's simply at it's core, fucking poorly thoughtout. Like who actually okay'd that? tournaments are one of the few rollin' mini goals I actually care about in this game. They don't bring them back my interest outside of finishing out being F2P auto'ing lvl20 dungeons is gonna wane pretty heavyily. Which is alittle sad but oh well.

Plarium Raid Shadow Legends will come and GO FAST if Plarium doesn't wake up to the community actually PLAYING the game. SAD. When the whales stop spending thousands of dollars a month then where does Plarium go from there?
