Hey Ash, we need videos of you talking about the best "specific" type of champions.
Who's the best healers / shielders in all categories for you. (Not necessarily a support)
Who are the best bombers.
The best poisoners and poison exploders.
The best controllers. (Not talking about slapping stun set on an aoe'r) but mostly those with good control in their kit, some are garbo and others are pretty good.
The best overall tanks and what not.
Having some more in-depth specific videos like that will certainly help plus is more content for you, cheers man! great videos as usual.

Vids like this are so great because knowing who to take to six stars is one of the toughest decisions to make in Raid, and one you can't undo later if things don't work out. I wasted so many resources early on maxing out mediocre champs like Warpriest, Penitent, and some of the poorer epics because I had no sense of who was the most useful long-term. Coldheart and Apothecary are definitely champs I don't think any player would regret maxing out, regardless of what other champions they have, especially since as Rares they are so much easier to book. Also great to hear you give Athel some love, as so many content creators seem to dislike her as a starter champ. I personally love her kit, and only recently replaced her with Ronda as my campaign farmer. Take care.
I would add Master Butcher to the Dwarf list of honorable mentions. He's fantastic just at level 50 with his passive healing ability, and his revival ability can (and has) come in clutch in several areas in the game. Example: Pair him with a Vogoth against Bommal, and you've got constant passive heals for your team going all the time as the Dreadbombs go off.
Soulbond Bowyer is probably my favorite Rare in the game. Her kit is S-tier. That extra 25% crit rate on every skill is huge at any point of the game. Turn meter depletion is massive, and ignore 75% DEF is insane.
I have her, and even at level 50 she's strong!

I think your shirt stay got borked. Those little plastic things they put in collars so they keep their shape? They are called stays. Pull out your iron, set it on high, cover the collar with a piece of baking paper, and press down on it with the iron until it goes back into a flatter shape. Next time you dry it, dry it on low for 3 minutes and then just hang it dry to finish it off so it doesn't get all crinkled again.

Crimson Slayer has a good amount of utility for a rare.
Sleep, turn meter reduction that hits hard, and has an AOE heal reduction. Been using her alot in the Spirit Keep. She owns that boss.
I used her for the same thing until I got Lifetaker
Crimson slayer is under rated
Definitely underrated. Crimson Slayer is excellent in Sand Devil. Her A1 skill basically guarantees placing a sleep debuff, especially if she's in sleep/daze gear.
btw, i was drinking a shot every time you said "in the (whole) game" and now i am drunk... again ^^
I'm still using Reliquary Tender in my DT boss teams, she's super great when maxed out and super fast with a bolster set, I even gave her accuracy to land the back up decrease atk debuff.
imo coldheart with phantom touch blessing is SO GOOD for spider and all other areas she goes OFF my personal fave
I've heard before that Misericord actually hits like a truck, but I really don't want to spend the resources to book her out, rank her up, gear her, give her masteries, and find out, especially if the rumor I heard was wrong. I wish someone would do it and then either specifically say no she's not worth it, or do a video guide on her, because her kit ain't half bad if you're comparing it to other starter champions. I think if her A3 granted an extra turn and she had the HP aura she'd be just as good as any of the starters assuming she can actually hit. Hellhades website has her listed with a 1.3 multiplier on her A1 (2 hitter can place decrease speed), and a 3.8 multiplier on the A2 which is only slightly less than what Elhain and Athel have.
I’m glad I found this vid as I might have trashed some good Rares. I was checking someone’s ratings of all the different champions, and Ash Walker was listed as an F tier.
Soulbound Bowyer is an obsession. I have 3 built for Doom Tower. :-)
Master Butcher has to make the list. This guy absolutely carries against Magma Dragon, and even Hydra clan boss, and he can really help out a lot of players out there. And one of my personal favorite Judge, who's a hard hitting speed demon of a champion, who can put out some solid debuffs too!
Coffin Smasher is also useful in doom tower, he's the only reason, on my F2P account. That I was able to get past Frost Spider.
i maxed valerie, regen set and defense set. she tanks hits, hits hard, shields everyone and slightly heals them. shes my moving fortress. idk why yall hate galek, hes my favorite. put some life steal and cruel or crit damage sets on him and watch him be nearly unstoppable. when he nukes he can heal like 2/3 of his health back, tanks a lot of hits, is my highest dmg champion rn.
I heard that Beast Wrestler is now really good for new content that has arrived, some hype about him on the RSL FB group as well
I started with Galek: have Athel, Elhain, & Kael now. 3x pathfinder Caits from the fusion event. My legendarily were free log in reward so some fights can go many many rounds so seeing if a common or rare in the mix can speed up my runs.
Had to retake notes, as I lost my notebook. And I had an idea: you mentioned "stun set" allot. How about a video specifically based upon the different Armor Sets. List who you believe needs each set. This would help round up every champ per armor set and make farming for the specific armor sets more of a focus.
Been watching a lot of your vids since I started the game a couple weeks ago, love the insight, and the gaffs. When you first showed Warmaiden, I so expected to hear Careless Whisper. And for real Valerie needs Harrier. This vid had me rolling several times. I appreciate the content.
Dude, thanks for all the leg work on this. I still feel the Elves, Dwarves and Barbarians offer the best flexibility and sustainability. I haven't gotten much utility out of the other rares and Banner Lords is just a ghost town, right?

Would you recommend on some champs using the A3 skill/ability first and, then, the A1 or A2 next? It just sounds like the order the abilities-skills are used depends heavily upon what they do so that a player can get them most out of them. I've seen champs where the A1 skill is the best to use first and the other skills come in to support that one. It also seems like sometimes the A3 skill being used first can benefit the whole team of champs depending on whether it's the campaign, the dungeons, faction wars or clan boss. Thanks for your videos and your advice!

for me i find life taker to be great for fire knight or any other boss that heals alot, cause her a1 skill is pretty good, you just set her behaviour to only a1 spam and when they hit its a 100% heal reduction and if fully booked its a 40% chance. and its a 2 hit so it does help to chip away at the fire knights shield. and she has the turn meter reduction on the a2 although its only 15% but it is a 75% chance when booked and its a 3 hitter so again good to chip away at the shield. as long as you build her speed to to go last and give her decent res it should always keep that heal reduction up.
I just created a FTP account with a challenge in mind. I'm limiting myself to Rare champions and below. Anything Epic or Legendary will be Vaulted until I see how far the Rares can get me.
Valerie is one of my best #1 choices and go-to's. My only concern with Val. Is that she could be reworked into having a more OP heavy hitting powerful 1-hit strike or be given an AOE added to her kit. Perhaps it's in her Scrolls, or booking, or her masteries formula, but, my Valerie is nearly almost At that 1-shot strike hit. And combined with her Shielding (in my Opinion the best Shielding defense support in the game) she's always the last to die against any boss or hard to kill team.

You missed a full cleanse rare in the lizardmen, Gator the support lizardmen, her a3 i think is a full cleanse
Have you considered taking the 5 worst units in the game and seeing what the hardest challenge you can beat is? How many doom tower levels or something?

I'd give a shout out to Slayer. I was testing him earlier last week and he was proving to be a rather strong hitter even at low levels which is something I've had trouble with on some Epics.
Hey Bro, ever thought of making a video about the cost vs benefits of going from level 15 to 16 on an item, or exactly how much better is 6* vs 5*, epic vs legendary ? It's a big increase but can cost millions. I have never heard substats and how much they increase per level from 5* to 6* or how much better legendary is to epic explained very well either. A lil food for thought bro. Sending positive vibes your way.

Kale... fellhound and then Wretch
Wretch helped me early in the game and I was just fooling around and took him to 6 star...I have a relentless and swift perry set on him...I have to say he is pretty useful against bosses with his 2 turn HP burn on a 3 turn cooldown...he keeps the bosses burning...not the best champion but I enjoy him😂

I have draconis added to this group for his ability to pair with pain keeper and reliquary tender. He might just be riding their coat tails though.
Banshee's A3 is nice for locking down an opponent's A2 and A3 skills if you don't have a champ that can do it better.
I'm not very experienced yet in Raid, but from what I can tell you get a lot out of Rare's and Epics as a free to play player since books are easier to come by for those.
Mother Superior never lets me down.
I'd like to add Fencer as a mention here. She hits pretty hard has a Aoe Decrease Defense For a rare She's pretty great
In my opinion, Hexweaver and Daywlker are slept on. Specific use cases if built right but definitely two worth looking at if they work for you

I just started a new account last week so i got to start with deacon and pulled all my blue shards today.. Got Apothecary and frozen banshee and high khatun out of 16... could have been better but i am still happy i got some good champions :)
I used Grinner as a backup Reviver in the easy Campaign and Faction War levels but he gets killed easily at level 40 and little or no masteries.
Crimson Slayer is a rare who's value rocketed into the stratosphere recently, with the sand devil's Necroplolis. A 3 hitter A1 with each hit having a 50% chance to sleep? Seems tailor made for the big bat guy!
Been using her in the Spirit Keep alot. Heal reduction and turn meter decrease. I think she's pretty underrated for a rare. That A1 sleep is also very nice against waves

9:10 Spirithost is a farmable rare who does it at 10%.
Candleguard is worth taking to level 50. I got good use out of her on my old FB account.

You skipped my favorite banner lords rare, myrmidon, he comes in absolute clutch for magma, CB, and rare doomtower floors, Defense based champ with aoe weak version of decrease attack and does a 50% Ally protection for two turns with a big continuous heal on himself, and he brings 20% DEF aura for dungeons, this guy is hugely slept on!

I managed to push far in Iron Twins using 2 painkeepers in my team. My nukers just kept dishing out damage without worrying about cd.

banner lords "chevalier" is very under rated. i got him very early and have him fully booked and at 60. he can hit through shields and block damage buffs. he has a stun. and he can give increase def and small continuous heals on aoe.

I'm trying to do the World record team with Corpulent Caver. I just have a Godseeker instead of a Lanakis to increase the buffs. I even put them in Reflex so they can get their buff increase faster. But something is not working right. Not sure what
Valerie! If I was starting a new account I would take her to 60 along side my starter. I feel like the two could form the basis for any team to progress
She has a solid defensive aura too! Still use mine as lead in faction wars (3 starred all the way with her at level 40)

Doomscreech is decent if you don’t have siphi for arena and need a increase defense speed booster to go first (since these are the only 2 champs that have this in their kit)……though that type of team comp isn’t as viable anymore with everyone focusing more on go 2nd teams in higher arena @ash
