- The Dragon's Lair is one of the best early game dungeons for gear farming, and it remains relevant FOREVER because it's the only place to farm high level SPEED sets. Here's my guide on how to beat this dungeon with relative ease, no matter the level of your account.

Thanks this answered a couple of queations i had. Just reached 20 today with Artack, Venomage, Scyl, Decon and been alternating a second poison champion of Frozen Banshee or Kael. Pulled a Staltus Dragonbane the other day. Trying get built so i can give it a try.

@StLouis83 The classic RAID Catch-22: need better gear to be able to farm for better gear, but can't really do it without better gear. Ugh. I hope you get a few good pieces to drop so you can start clearing faster. Good luck!
Awesome video. Can u share me. How to build decon. I don't know how to use artifacts for champions. New to the game.
I have a poison explosion team for stage 25, not tried hard mode yet with the team. Poisons are the best way to deplete the purple bar
@sjaakbakker9944 Yeah, poisons are great. HP Burn can help too, but you obviously can't stack more than 1. Max HP hits are also great, even though they are weaker after stage 20.
Thanks for the video. I would like to ask though. I can do Dragon level 13 with 4 foods, level 16 with 3 foods & level 20 with 1 food. Which level would you recommend me to do?
That's a good question, and I don't know if there's one clear answer for every case. Stage 20 gives you the best drops and will probably be the fastest in terms of tournament and DD points. However, if gear and speed aren't as much of an issue, the other two options could be more energy efficient. So it's really up to you to decide what's most important. I think it's likely that you can develop a stage 20 duo pretty soon though, which would make the point moot. I hope that helps!

i found out today udk+artak can duo hard 3 dragon for me! they also duo hard 3 spider for me, not worried about ice golem, yet lol
@Ickyray Very nice! I haven't tried UDK in any solo/duo runs yet. But Artak is great for that.
@ColredPlaysRSL udk is a great solo/duo I use mine in toxic for soloing doomtower bosses and during dungeons, I just don't have artak built to solo my great hall isn't quite there yet
My level 60 5 star epic gear Kael does hardly any poison damage even stage 7 dragon...I don't get what I am doing wrong...
@NoNo-nr2xv I'm not sure. I would start by checking 3 stats: speed, accuracy, and crit. rate. You should probably have 150+ speed. You need at least 80 ACC and preferably like 125+ to make sure you land your poisons. Your crit. rate should be at 100%. That won't improve your poison damage, but it will help your overall damage. I hope that helps!

@user-ty9oj1mx3t RNG means Random Number Generator. In every game, the devs have to code a system into the game to simulate randomness. It's never actually random. So when players talk about RNG, it can refer to random chance or it can refer to the system that simulates it.

Venonmage huh? I never really tried her on the Dragon. I haven't built her yet either...too many champions. I use Elenaril because poison explosions are fun. :)
@Crashdown96 I have Elenaril AND Kalvalax and I STILL haven't built either one....man, I need to make more 5-star chickens...

@Toedju Yep, someone else mentioned that as well. I think I conflated her with Corvis, who has a similar passive based on poisons.

@jyotiprakashnanda5653 Congrats! I can't show my build here, but if you come to the discord and DM me, I will post it there. Here I can just tell you I've got 4 pieces of Perception and 2 of Speed. ACC banner with spd. DEF amulet with acc. Masteries are in the Offense and Support trees. I went down the right side of Supp for more accuracy, and chose Eagle Eye as my capstone. Hope that helps!
Doesn't the dragon get stronger the longer or the more scorches occur?

A year or two ago it seemed I was doing it and it was fine but the longer it took the harder it got.
I thought someone in raid chat said something about it.
Like the unupdated change to it not being able to be slowed anymore, and myriads of other things they don't tell players and you have to go outside of the game to learn them, maybe there is something missing.

Another guide with maxed out epics etc with 6 star gear...
How do you get that gear? You need to farm dungeon stage 20+, but only way to win stage 20+ is to have the gear...

@NoNo-nr2xv Yes, getting good gear can help you get great gear, but only one champion in this video is a "maxed out" epic in 6-star gear. My Rector Drath and Runekeeper Dazdurk are both level 50s in modest gear. In fact, on my new level 51 account which is only 45 days old, my Runkeeper has much better stats than the one in this video. I can't farm Dragon 20 yet, but that's because I don't have the right team yet.
Also, remember, you can improve your champions' stats through the great hall, so it's not just the gear. RAID progress happens incrementally. Farm dragon as high as you can to get some decent gear. Gear up your champions so they can win more arena battles. Use the arena medals to improve your great hall and give your champions better bonuses. Take your newly improved champions back into the dungeon and try to push 1 or 2 more levels to improve your gear drops. Rinse and repeat. That's the RAID life.
your "weak" team is like 10 times better than my best team. :P
which is crazy if you consider we are supposed to do dragon to get better gear... but we dont have good gear to do it in the first place.
im stack at dragon 18.
my fastest character (due to lack of gear) is like 190speed. not even gonna bring up accuracy lol
@reignmans Heh. Well, 2+ years in, even as a F2P player, you're gonna have some good teams. However, my point wasn't that my team was weak, but that it was F2P friendly. 190 speed is getting up there. Keep farming Drag 18. When you get a few more speed gear drops, regear and try 19. The early and mid game are super grindy. That's just the F2P life, my friend. Nothing I can say or do will change that (though I wish I could). 😜

Actually these Bosses only get a resistance against TM Control at 21 and up. So you can actually TM Control Dungeon Bosses up to 20, after that your TM Control is reduced by 50%. That might change to a TM Control immunity for hard mode maybe but I'm not there yet.
@rebeckavogel6480 But the Dragon is ALWAYS immune to TM control. You can't decrease his TM at all, even in Stage 1. The description of the fight doesn't mention that for some reason.
@@ColredPlaysRSL last time I ran Dragon - admittedly some time ago due to inactivity - it was not immune to TM Control? Is this intended behaviour?

@@ColredPlaysRSLmost likely due to a copy paste from other dungeons, ice golem, fk and spider are controllable, so they probably didn't edit that part for dragon on the guide lol
@rebeckavogel6480 I think you may be misremembering, unless the Dragon was not immune at launch. I started playing only a few months after launch and it has always been immune for as long as I've been playing. But no worries - there's so much stuff going on in RAID, I lose track of things all the time. 🫡
He's always like, "Let's focus on budget team, Lydia she's easy everybody can get her pair with Arcrizia, as for the gear I want to sick with accessibility a 9 piece legendary Zeal set keep it f2p😂😅😢
What are you even talking about? The only legendary I even use in this video is Scyl of the Drakes, who everyone gets at 180 login days. Otherwise, I use rares and epics, some of whom are even level 50. And my stats are totally mid-game accessible stats. I'm the F2P guy - I don't think you even watch my videos.
